Pic of JDM XT-6

Featured Replies

Well, here appears to be another car we never got. I just saw the pic and it looks cool. It appears to be a JDM STi XT-6, but I guess it's known as the Alycone in Japan.

I dunno, looks to me like an XT6 with some aftermarket rims (Look kinda like Legacy GT wheels..) and an STi sticker? :-)

Kicks arse either way...

I like how they tucked the turn signals and fog lights into the bumper

Can't be an STi, first STi was the Legacy Turbo or Legacy RS Type R and Legacy RS type RA as known over there. Still cool nonetheless :headbang: .

Mark,

OBviously that pic is chopped :brow:

I still have it in my Subaru pics folder, coz it does look tight

anybody have a real pic of a JDM XT-6?

I dont know. I'm pretty good with photoshop, and i cant find anything that indicates thats a fabbed photo. What makes you guys think its shopped??

-Brian

its probably a jdm model kit. but does anybody have a pic of a real one? I want to know if they really had those round lights underneath the headlights

still looks pretty sweeeeeet :slobber:

I'm pretty positive that is a rendition of a real JDM Alycone (XT-6). I do believe the picture originates from the box of a plastic model kit.

who makes the plastic model kit? I'm trying to find older subaru models.

Mark,

i know for a fact its photoshopped...

first there were no real STIs back when XT6s (alcyones) were produced (88-91)...however STI made its debut in 1988 but was using its technology for the legacy which made its endurance run in 1989...that division of subaru was not what it is today.

the wheels are obviously optional WRX BBS's from the 2001-2002 model line and the parking lights and rear tire are obviously made up.

and a few years ago when i was on the XT6 yahoo site, someone designed it saying something like "heres what my car will look like" or something to that extent.

fabbed - pretty good i might add

LegacyT: There is someone in the Subaru Marketplace selling XT type plastic models. The handle is KS2000...... or something like that. Her post has a lot of XT6 parts 4 sale in it.
