Legacy777
I'd recommend keeping your stock intake. Just remove the resonator in the fender.
jeep5.9litre
Where is the resonator located??? What will removing this do in terms of performance...or fuel gains
NoahDL88
Where is the resonator located??? in the fender that will help response more than anything, but unless you actually do real work to the engine, (spend money) you're not gonna go any faster. The stock intake will flow over 300 horsepower easy. nothing you can do to a NA car between the filter and the TB that will get you more then 2 horsepower You wanna go faster, get a good set of springs, all 4 corners of the car. only then will a complete exhaust and a perfect power chip do you good. Subie Gal
you have a 98 Legacy yeah? I too would recommend you leave the intake alone. You have a MAF sensor tied into your intake sysetm. mess with the MAF - and it can cause loads of issues. check engine lights, car running too rich, too lean..... best to run the OEM intake keep the air filter clean OEM design is more than adequate.
