Boo-Boo Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 The inside of my Loyal smells of exhaust fumes when the heater blower is on and the car is stationary - goes away when the car is in motion. soobmater Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 yes, definatley check the gaskets, if its a loyal, its definatley a ea82(aleast if its stock it will be) i guess if the gaskets are leaking, fumes could get into the fan blower, and blow fumes inside?? if it goes away when your driving, maybe just because the air is blowing the fumes away from the blower Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The engine is a 93'....some how the air intake for the blower is sucking up exhaust from somewhere, but the muffler garage said there are no cracks in the system. jacobs Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 To check for exhaust leaks, start the engine and take a rag in the palm of your hand, plug the tailpipe to stop the exhaust from coming out.
