Featured Replies

I took my GL in tonight, for the biannual emmisions test. It passed on the 1st try, for the 4th time in a row. Results are below.

i passed last saturday with a sticky valve, bad gas and no seafoam......

fixed that valve,i think, and put on a weber right AFTERWARDS(CONGRATS to our cars fotr taking care of us)

So Craig, is that engine still stock or weberized? Way to go anyway.

It's stock

nice job, I passed a few months ago, with the weber. THey didnt even mention it, or the fact that all my emission controls are gone.

Yeah, subaru's are nice that way. I've bought them for $200 for parts cars, then decided to drive them instead and passed emissions with flying colors. Better than some of the horror stories I've heard about some other brands -- my landlord's '87 dodge dakota with 120k on it took a complete tuneup and a brand new carbureator before it would barely pass.

last time i had the 82 tested it faild... the gas cap test that is:mad:

heck my old 84 passed without a cat ether;)

must have been luck
