Tilt Guage???

Recommended Posts

I pulled this one out of a '86 mitsubishi "dodge raider"

it has oil pressuer in bar and psi, goes to 8 / 110

and a volt gauge 8-16

much more suited for my vw rabbit pickup

I'll have to put the tercel one in my rx

I've taken in on easy trails

couldn't find anything to match a guage from a dodge raider....hmmmm

In my old Isuzu Trooper I used a RV leveling guage. I can't find a pic but it was flat with a pin that went from side to side depending on which way the rig was tilting. I got it at wal-mart in the rv aisle. It was cheap and looked cool (to me at least) but it was no where near as nice as the guages. Did the basic job though. It also was easy to calibrate, my Zu leaned a tad.

 Did Subaru ever put a guage in for tilt...side/side/front/back??? If so what year's makes??

If not I've heard of people putting them in thier car but not sure what they got them outta.

 Would be cool as hell to put one in my '89 Hatch!!:burnout:

You will find them on Ebay for about twenty bucks made for a Jeep..They are listed as "clinometer". Daihatsu and Mitsubishi made the nice though, all in one ball with up and down and left to right and even showed your G force. This one can be used as a poormans attitude indicator in a plane.

Jude
