February 16, 200620 yr Does anybody know what one of these is worth (I'll post a picture of one, not THE one in my album so you can see it)? I've got access to one, but only have a Gen-2 BRAT. Anybody want to trade for a Gen-2 Hi-Boy camper top?
February 16, 200620 yr here is an ebay auction for one of these... went for about 130.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8020023014&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT

It is the only one I've ever seen in real life... I've seen picture but this was the real thing. It came out of Iowa, from McBrat. If you have another one it would probably command the same price range, however be prepared to do some serious crating and shipping costs. Kurt
February 26, 200620 yr Author Can't believe I missed that! It looks like the one i'll be getting, except for the color adn condition. I've only seen it suspended from the garage ceiling, so I'm assuming its in mint shape. But It looks like its tan or warm white in color.
February 26, 200620 yr Author What was your experience with the shipping? How did you pack it, and what did it cost? I'll have to move it from its current location in New Mexico.

Does that mean that a highboy camper from a gen 1 won't fit a gen 2 or a 86 brat that would blow because I found one that I can probably get pretty cheap:-\
February 27, 200620 yr Does that mean that a highboy camper from a gen 1 won't fit a gen 2 or a 86 brat that would blow because I found one that I can probably get pretty cheap:-\ that is correct. a Gen1 cap is about 4 inches narrower, and the B pillar angle is slightly different. when I had the tonneau cover shipped to me in Iowa from SouthCarolina I think, it was all intact, and put onpallet, with a crate then built around it. i had to go pick it up at the terminal. I think shipping was about $80, even with picking it up at the terminal.
