Ok, so I don't know how else to get closer to stock gearing other than shriking the tires, and I saw some 14" Trac Loader tires in the bed of a guy's PU the other day check out this link! Untill I can do something along the lines of 4.44's or something (not concidering T-case an option at this time), these look like some really good options for off-road only tires ... of course the problem is you need to carry extra wheels or trailer your off-roader, but just imagine these babys off-road! The tires at the bottom of the list are the ones I am talking about size - 25x8.5-14 NHS (too bad you can't take them on the road ... oh well, might be able to get away with it in town at least ) Here's the link: http://www.titanstore.com/store/specbook.html

no they don't, cause every set is custom made for the application right here in northern minnesota. I talked to a guy about making some for the subaru, but let's just say it would be in the 5-digit range

i was looking at the ATV tires on there... i know its been discussed many many times before but it says the weight rating is around 480lbs... now is that for one tire or for all 4???

i've seen off-roaders use tracter type tires before... i got some vids that are absolutely awesome... best non-suby vids i got! in the first vid you'll just kinda go... oh my... oh my... OH NO HE DIDN'T! then you'll laugh...:-p (poor landrover...)

NO WAY!! they make that same nice DOT trailer tire in a 13 too!! and yes a 14" 205/75-14 6-ply!! now just need to find a place that sells them :-p

How did they do on snow and ice? That's annother reason the TSL isn't ideal for me in Montana, something like 4 - 6 mons out of the year, the places I want to go wheel'n are covered in Ice and snow, so a mud tire is only needed in about 30% of the places I go, and if I can get more of an agressive ice/snow tire that can handle a bit of mud too should be best for me

mattracks are VERY cool but VERY expensive. A buddy of mine checked about 4 years ago, and if I remember right, it would have been in the neighborhood of 15 grand for his 4X4.
