I hope that scoop if for a TMIC.

actually I like to funnel bugs into my engine. It gets a little extra fuel mileage that way.

yes its a wrx TMIC to go with the TD04 turbo. previously designed to fit my VW intercooler that was with the stock turbo. If you look in my picture gallery you can see some pics of the set up.

I dont know Buddy. My wife gets a bit upset if I spend too much time with other car nutz. your still a young single cat. someday you will understand.

the trip was awesome. there were more pics but they were a bit crappy because they were from a disposible camera after the battery in my digital died. at one point we climbed one canyon dirt road that scaled a cliff by zig zaging up the face. near the top there was ice on the path and a drop of who knows how many feet off the side. I have a pic of myself on the top of it.

we also went caving in Arizona. camping in moab. and lots and lots of driving. as the saltlake pic shows we barred thru a few nasty storms.

a caravan of subarus and or other vehicles would be safest for some of the off road adventures. I have been real lucky to be able to fix breakage on the trail but some day I will be stuck good if I am not carefull.

Yeah, my wife gets a bit upset if I spend too much time with my car.

come on out here guys, Russ, you were close and you didn't swing another 6 hours to come and visit?

Its ok, I know how it is when I tend to spend too much time with my car or my fellow Subaru owners. I've heard about it a couple times but she don't care:banana:

we didnt intend on going up as far as Utah actually. That was just to chase some fresh powder.:D

I did stop to visit one subaru guy but thats because I am buying a car from him and sme spare parts.

Soon I will be on a mission to new mexico and back to pick it up. That trip will be strictly bussiness. It looks like we will be running with a borrowed F350 with a trailer as my toyota turbo diesel project is going slower than expected.

yeah wife says we dont spend enough quality time together.:-\

What kind of rims are those?

15" pug aloys painted semigloss black(VHT wheel paint) center capless.

Looked like an awesome trip Russ! You think maybe your cars up for a trip to the WCSS this year? Might have a pretty nice caravan if Buddy and Bacon go too.

thanks all for the kind words about my little wagon. Its a pain in the rear but has been really good to me overall. its up to 243,xxx miles now. think it might just make a few more. just about everything has been rebuilt or will be soon. I was considering moving up to an impreza outback sport or a forester but I think I might be better of sticking with what I have.

Junkie- abut the road trip up north. I have not decided yet. It really depends on the two W's (work and wife). It would be fun.
