Found a brat in the northeast

Featured Replies

Well I was looking in the local clasifieds and came across an 86 Brat, which is rare in my area. It says it has 4 speed 4WD, many new parts, just passed insp. $2800. I think this is quite expensive what do you guys think?? He doesnt list the miles or condition either.

It's not an unreasonable price if it's in good shape. I will be selling mine soon and asking $3k even. Maybe more. And Brats are less rare here.

Went up and looked at that brat..took it for a ride. Overall, it is in pretty good condition with only a few spots of surface rust, but no rot. It comes with jump seats, topper and another parts brat. The bed does not have any start of rust.He told me $2500.

how bad is the parts car? maybe you could sell that to recoup some of your original investment? did you take any pics? sounds like a pretty decent deal really....

heck, i`d sell you my brat and hatch for $2500:brow:

If I had $2500, I would buy it.

Might want to send Hocrest a PM and maybe he'll look at it and give his opinion. He's not too far from Scranton.

I know from a past personal experience...check the back end of it around the gas tank. The rot likes to hide back there and you don't know it till it is too late.

Talk to Hocrest...I'd take his opinion anyday
