High Volume Oil Pumps for Subes

Featured Replies

Looks good to me, I would try one. Boz (maybe if and when I rebuild my EA81)

And I just replaced mine last month. Damn, I would have been willing to try one.

Maybe these could help those with the chronic clatter.:D

They don't have a listing for the ER27!! Does anyone know if the EA82 pump is the same as the ER27? The Brat could use a high volume pump. Least they have one for the EA81T.

I am going to be resealing my engine near the end of December. I was planning on replacing my oil pump with an oem one, but that was before I knew about the High Volume Oil Pump. So are the high volume pumps worth it? Is Toga a good brand? Are these pumps just as good as OEMs? Has anyone tried one?

I'll have to check that out! More than twice the cost of a stock replacement, hope it's worth it.

Thanks for the link and info!

I was talking with my engine's class prorfessor, and the high volume pumps are only worth it if you are using bigger clearances at the bearings, if you are staying at the stock clearances, as you should for longevity, the high volume pump will only cause more drag on the engine and reduce power.
