RX springs for an aditional 1" front lift.

Featured Replies

Im gonna be putting my 3/3 lift on my hatch. IM wondering if RX springs will add an inch in effect making my car seem like a 4/3 lift? Has anyone put RX springs on their EA81? Do they fit the EA81 struts well?

Also, would this effect my camber? I dont need to be eating away the outside of my front tires.

It will change the camber the same way cranking the adjustable front EA81 struts up will - except you won't be able to easily undo it. You can offset this by going to 4" blocks on the cross-member, and staying 3" on the radius rod plates... but it's not a true suspension lift. The other way to fix it would be to move the lower control arms outward about 1/2" to correct the camber and still give you the suspension height. Have to blue wrench the mount tabs off, and re-weld them about 1/2" further outboard on the x-member.

I as well have rx springs.I have them on my hatch mounted on kyb gr2's.I took the advise of McBrat and located a set of springs.I am pretty happy with them and yes just as McBrat said it is a bit stiffer with a little added lift in the front.

got'em on gr2's as well.they are a lifesaver with any,and i mean any added weight to the front.a must have.......
