September 9, 200619 yr 150 TR 390 metric alum. wheelstire size 190 X 65 X 390. I can pick these up for $70. I assume that's a good deal, right? I would love to have these, however, they take the metric tire size. Where can i find tires that fit metric measurements in the us for a decent price? Les shwab wants twice the price of a similar us standard size tire. How much would they cost for some decent 22" tires for my T-Brat. they look like this http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/pug15-alloy-stripes.jpg
September 9, 200619 yr Not really. 390 wheels are actually going to take a 15.5 inch tire. Good luck trying to find those. BW
September 9, 200619 yr Virtually impossible to find tires for. Well - you *can* find them, but sizes are limted, and the cost is extremely high. Most of the pug owners get rid of those rims in favor of the non-metrics. Sorry - those are scrap metal here in the states. GD
September 9, 200619 yr If the tires are good on them tell the person selling them to give you 50$ for them and you will make sure they get recycled. AFTER you beat the crap out of them untill they pop!
September 9, 200619 yr Author thanks all, Thats dissapointing. I really like the look of that wheel. I wish i could find some in US sizes. There is absolutly no website that sells these for a reasonable price huh? Will I be able to find these rims in standard sizes if i keep looking?
September 10, 200619 yr I dont really remember what the 390 pugs look like, but these are normal pug 15" alloys....http://usmb.net/gallery/clay/000_0257?full=1 Check the market place, they are for sale pretty often.. edit: after seeing them, they look a lot like 14" alloy style.
September 10, 200619 yr Scott in Bellingham has a set of 15 inch Pugs on his own car and a set of metrics. They look identical and would be hard to tell the difference without measuring. I believe Scott plans to melt down the metrics to add to his aluminum ingot supply. The 15's are available out there if you look around a bit. I would not reccomend you get the metrics unless you find a sure thing deal on tires you like. Rollie

I wont settle for anything else on my t-brat. They look similar to the 13" 4 spoke that i already have. I going to replace all the gaskets in my ea81t and add a 5spd D/R this winter. After that i am going to fix the two dents and paint it Lightning silver again. I would like to get some 15" pugs and a turbo stripe after that to complete the look i want on my car. Thanks for all your help. PM me if you find some 15" non-metric Recessed spoke peugeot rims/lugs/caps. THANKS:grin:
September 10, 200619 yr Here's most of the wheels that will fit your t-brat... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/wheels.html if you do find a set of of the 15" pugs with recessed spokes, I offer a replacement decal set for them... there's another guy on the board who does OEM turbo brat horizon/targa stripe repros too.
