Will the four lug pattern from the older fords work on the 4 lug subaru pattern?

How old are you thinking?I am pretty sure fords have always been 4x100.I could be wrong on some of the euro spec fords though.

nope, every ford 4-lug car I've ever seen has been FAR too small...

 

in fact, every 4-lug except peugeot and VW have been FAR too small...VW is just a little too small...

the old fords were 4x 4 1/5 or 4x114.3 for you metric guys

Some Older Peugeot Rims will work fine in Subies.

Correct. Every 4-lug Ford that I'm aware of has a 4x108 pattern, both Euro and US Fords. The nice thing about the Pug/Subby pattern is the fact that you can recognize it without measuring!
