What do you think is wrong with this car?

Featured Replies

Judging by the large print, i'd venture to guess that it needs gas, and possibly a transmission flush if its an auto.

Without seeing this car in person and looking at the drivetrain and engine, I wouldnt give $100 for the car. The engine could be bad and/or the drivetrain could be toast. From his explaination its looks/sounds like both are having problems.

Look and ask lots of questions before buying this one.

And here's my own mystery: I look on eBay every day, for all Subarus made in 1994 (to include Loyales) and earlier, yet this one didn't appear, so I'm missing who knows how many auctions. ??

Nice interior... We only got blue and brown here in Australia. I like the grey.

As said before, ask a lot of questions. Maybe go have a look at it too?

Uh, it's an EA82 car, and it looks like my old one.... not good things.

Mine had trans issues too, I think..... sold it for $300.... far less than the $500 I paid..... I drove it twice.

Look under "Parts cars" and "Öthers" in the Subaru makes.

And it helps to look for the ones close by, most times they're gonna need a tow, likely why they're in the "parts cars" section.

Oh I know, but they shouldn't list it as parts unless there's no way it can move under it's own power.

Might be some sort of legal thing. I've bought "parts" subaru's and driven them home under their own power.

i guess some people see them as ''parts cars'' if they won't pass inspection. so sometimes you'll see cars listed as parts cars just because of a cracked windshield or something like that.
