i know this has probably been covered before, but as far as i can tell, it's always been covered under "what color should i paint my new soob"..... I'm trying to see some different camo paterns already on cars, to see if i can come up with a kinda original one.... So if you have camo paint, or have a picture of a soob....or any car i guess... with camo, post it up if you dont mind... i'm excited to see the creativity flowin!!! thanks

what is camo?

take like pecies of brush and stuff and spray over them, like make the whole thing green, then put some brush, and then a tan, then more brush a different tan/green or somthing, my dad did it with a tool box and it looks awsome! just an idea tho

Not much of a picture, and it looked way better in person (and when the fender matched) but I just went with straight OD green, looked very military. I don't know of anyone else who has done just the green, the color didn't turn out that good in pics.

 

this is the best example i've found i think...but i am giong to go for a white urban scheme i think... more like this pattern and color...

Also an idea, the army has gone to the new *digital* camo, I don't think anyone has ever done that on a car before.

I've been thinking about the new pattern, but not sure how I would make a template/stencil for it.

Also want to do my Hatch in the white urban camoflage.

Or use the real brush/leaf technique. I've seen this one done, it looks awesome.

you dont need a pattern!! just free hand it! ORder an airbrush kit for 3 bucks (on clearence at harbor freight from 20 bucks) and just start painting!!! go for the real leaves tecjnique, and i'll go for the urban snow and we'll compare... (it'll be awiile on mine though, as i still have to go BUY the car im wanting to paint!!!!)

Soviet Air Force winter camo. The 'Baja' is photochopped, the camo is real.

that's pretty sweet. i think im going to try and go for alot of detail in the pattern.... mainly because i have access to a paint booth, so i figure i might as well try and make it as good as possible....
