at the junkyard

Featured Replies

i was rummaging through a subaru junkyard (about 20 miles from here) and found a PAIR of 13" ENKEIS. they looked like pretty cool wheels, but there's only 2 of em. i was wondering if anybody's ever seen them? i thought that the u.s. didn't get those. how much do you think they'd sell for? I've NEVER seen them. not even on this site. and does anybody need any special hard to find parts? he's about to start selling like crazy cuz he's got too much crap.

P.S. the only thing he does not have are LSD rear diffs. he's been stashing those somewhere.

If they are the gold ones they are definately worth grabbing. They might be either the snowflake type or the multi spoke one, either way they are pretty rare.

Saw a set on an 85 XT turbo in Alabama about 12 years ago. Only set I ever saw. Sad thing is I could have bought the car for $1200. Along with the gold wheels it had a black metal flake paint job. Damn.

Yea def need pics. too bad its not the whole set or id tell you to grab them and sell them to me lol

i'll post pics in a couple days. they're silver with spokes but not snow-flake style.

if they look like this i would love to make a full set. i have the four on the car but no spare like it. just the standard steelies.

nope, there's alot more spokes and they stop short of the edge of the rim. there's maybe a good 3" of distance between the spokes and the outer bead.

no... not like those. i went to the wheels page and looked for them and didn't see anything that was even close. i should have pics tomorrow or tuesday.

I only ran those for one day, I got them from Ed. And for the life of me, I cant remember what brand they were. But they rock!:headbang: Some of the best traction I've had yet for RallyX tires. Not quite as good as what Ed, Zap and Qman have right now, but better than I've ever had before.

I want to say Bridgestone, but not positive. Could be Hakki's too:confused:
