September 18, 200718 yr I know it's against protocol to post the same thing in more than 1 section, but this is important to me. you all understand, i'm sure. if a mod feels it necissary to delete one, delete the one in the New Gen forum. she would have wanted it that way.
September 18, 200718 yr not all hippies are enviromentalists.but more importantly.not all environmentalists are hippies. sorry for your loss.
September 18, 200718 yr Uh.. Fix it? 1995 means any EJ22 from 1990-95 will drop right in, just throw your intake manifold on and you're good to go. You can do it in a day if you have an engine lift. EJ22's are cheap, plentiful, and easy to swap. I wouldn't use the dealer if you like your wallet. Cloud of black smoke? not blue?
September 18, 200718 yr Author IT LIVES!!! The Subaru came back to life late this afternoon on the coroners table! It woke up and said that it's heart (engine) is still beating strong, it just needs a new water pump and timing belt! Tally: Timing Belt Water Pump + Gaskets Idler Pully + Belt CV boot Total = $700 bones SHE's BULLETPROOF HAHA :burnout:
September 19, 200718 yr so ask her if she saw a tunnel of light?? Maybe it saw the blue EA81 wagon and the gray GL-10 that I parted... or the twin XT's that I had to scrap....

November 7, 200718 yr no..wait...she's dead again. and for sale. $1000 bucks, needs headgaskets. Get over here, I've got a perfectly good running 2.2 you can have for cheap. :-p
November 7, 200718 yr Author Get over here, I've got a perfectly good running 2.2 you can have for cheap. :-p thanks, but i just bought a 99 Legacy GT Limited no offroading in the new one though....trying to keep it "nice"..............cooincidentally though, i bought it a month ago and haven't taken it home yet because it overheated the night i bought it....needs headgaskets! but it's getting fixed for free.
November 7, 200718 yr Author Well, I cant wait to see what the future holds for you and your LGT hey, what's with the eye roll??
November 8, 200718 yr Author You'll be off-roading it soon... um...i don't think so. this thing is MINT (save for the headgaskets). It only has 34k miles on it and the body and paint are showroom quality. this thing was too great of a find to offroad. don't worry, once i start making money and buy a house with in-ground lifts in the garage, i'll fashion myself up some 8" lift blocks and stuff a new tribeca engine into an sxv. my Subaru offroading days aren't over, they're just on hold.
