5 lug rear hubs

Featured Replies

Heres my thought.

Take EA82 4 lug rear hub.

Press the spindle out of it.

Repeat process to legacy rear hub.

Combine leg spindle in EA hub for swappageness since I cannot find any XT-6 rear hubs.

1. Has this been tried?

2. Will the rear EA axles go into the leg rear spindle?

c~ Any other thoughts?

will not work . sorry the xt6 hubs are the holly grale of the 5lug swappageness

Im wondering how much it would cost to have some Billet adapters made that would replace the 4 Lug Plate with the 5x100 pattern,Keeping the stock rotors in place.

Just a dream, but it would be nice if the adapters were not to thick to upset the offset of the wheels.

Im at the point now where im thinking of filling the holes and redrilling the stock plate

but find yourself some xt6 stuff... has gotta be cheaper

and will allow better brakes!

If I can get xt6 hubs sent to Barbados..Anyone can get these..Was I that lucky?

yes, they are available if you want to pay the $$$$$.

you know i have an idea to try out. for a 5 lug swap i think it would be a good idea to go along with my six lug kits i will return to this thread and my 6 lug thread if have success.

Some permformance shops in Australia respline the hubs for 5 lug swap. Also have seen ea spline machined out leaving spline intact ,ej spline removed from hub ,ea one added and pinned then welded.

If it was that easy to find them we would already have them by now. There are several of us looking for the XT6 parts :-\ With no luck
they are easy to find, for the right price! i'll ship someone a set. unfortunately they are a PITA to deal with, either huge and heavy to box or disassembly. so i'm not dealing with them for chump change, i would but i don't have the time. i have one set ready to go to australia, that's the last "cheap" set i sell.
