ok so i met this guy whe i was like 14 and i loved his car (1978 4x4 wagon) well i kept in touch with him and told him that is he ever sold the car that i wanted it . well......

 

 

he abandond it when he went to texas he left it seting in a guys yard well i talked to the land lord andim buying it for 300 and he is getting me a tittle for it :) what do you think. im gonna cgive it a bath and start to find out wht i need for it( it has LOTS of parts in it)

It has to be older than 1978 though, mine is a 78. At a guess its from 1976 or very early in 1977 before Subaru changed over (... to the Gen 1 Stage 11)

I've got one of those, hehe! The '76 grill and headlight trim looks way better in my opinion.

yea i noticed that first off. om gona keep it red and keep it lifted. im also thinking about swaping out that front bumper with a stock one.

If you're going to lift it, sell us other old gen'ers your nice factory parts, like stock bumpers, etc.

I think I may have a NOS front bumper for that. I bought it about as year ago, it was listed as a 1979 BRAT bumper, but it isn't (it's older). I will get it out and take a picture if you are interested.

im intersted in it. im going to keep it lifted but im not gonna wheel it she will be a pavement princess maby get her muddy but thats it.

Well,with several of us interested can you post a seperate thread with a picture so we can verify which style it is? I can't help but think that you got the one I was trying to buy. He didn't want to budge on the price back when my money was tight as a frog's you know what.
