January 7, 200422 yr Ahhh yes,the one Tim told us about in the pawn shop. To die for.....well,maybe give a nut for......well,maybe cut a thumb off for.......well,maybe....... She sure is a thing to behold.
January 7, 200422 yr I'm almost certain I saw one on a flatbed heading west on I-90, just outside Albany, a week ago. Cute little thing... looked like a tiny VW (how much smaller can they get?), dwarfed by the flatbed it was riding on. I'm not skilled enough that I think I can recognize a 360 on sight, though... were there any other cars produced that look at all like it?
January 7, 200422 yr Fiat 500s, and the backsides of Isettas, look pretty much the same to the untrained eye and/or 50+ feet away. There are some other more obscure models too. Visit http://www.microcar.org for specifics. It looks like mine, minus the rust. And with 9 more horsepower, too!
January 7, 200422 yr There is some BRAT resemblance here (found on the microcar site): http://www.microcar.org/carspecs/conyguppy.html
January 8, 200422 yr I once chased down a car I saw going the other way on the highway pulling into a rest stop. From the other side of the highway it looked like a 360, but when I got up to it I found out it was a Fiat 500. Still pretty cool, and the guy had no idea what a 360 was. There is also a 360 P.U. at a dealership near me with like 600miles or something stupid like that on it. It's all original, it was bought by some politicion for driving in parades and the guy that still works at the dealership ( I think it was the first car he ever sold) kept his eye on it and bought it when they auctioned off the estate. (This info is from memory and may be cloudy, but the important thing is: It's clean, it's low milage, and I WANT IT!
January 8, 200422 yr at a local wrecking yard/towing business, the owner has a 360 tow truck. Its like the coolest thing I've ever seen. He also has a spare body for it out in the yard for "just in case" reasons. He only uses it for parades but I haven't gotten to look at how many miles are on it. Its totally spotless:D
January 8, 200422 yr other 360s, kids busted tricycles and other stuff like that!!! oh and those big motorized tonka/hot wheels cars too!
January 8, 200422 yr Subarfreak, you talking about Holmgren's 360 p/u???? Stop by there today,I'll be there from about 10-1:30 if you are able to get there.I understand that you'll probably be working but just thought I'd offer a chance to meet. His 360 is in the service area.Just sits there, guys lean stuff on it,the cargo area has junk in it,but it's still a really nice example.
January 8, 200422 yr its pretty funny how they are always in pawn shops. like some dude stole it from his grandma, and traded it weight for weight for some subs, and an amp.
