mkoch
Like the title says. Is there an easy way to tell if a car is has a "California" emission system? "
GeneralDisorder
Nearly all 2WD's were feedback carb equipped regardless of where they were sold. For 4WD's, look under the driver's side dash - there would be a computer box bolted to the column. All feedback cars have an O2 sensor in the crotch of the y-pipe as well. That's the quickest giveaway under the hood. GD
subiemech85
underhood or windshield label ECS blink code 73 or 77 which year, engine, trans, and dash type?
zyewdall
Look at the emissions label under the hood that says whether it meets all applicable emissions regulations except CA, or if it says it meets them in CA. If the label's gone..... start looking at the other stuff. If it's an '87, the CA ones are SPFI, but I believe all the rest were still carbed.
