Brake and Battery light come on and off

Featured Replies

2001 Outback H6-3.0. Car runs fine but batt and brake light flicker on and off sometimes. No starting or brake problems. Breaks replaced last month. Good belt and idler bearing. Battery about a year old. Anyone had this problem please let me know what you found. thanks

i had my brake and bat lights on and they would dim a little when i reved up my engine. i replaced my alternator and now there is no problem. -dont know if this will help but wouldnt hurt to check it.

i'll hop in the "alternator is dying" line too. the sooner you replace, the less it stresses your battery.
