  1. No - too hard to find. Probably have better luck using Faraday cages to make Forester grilles.

  3. 225/55/17 would be basically the same as the 225/60/16 that is stock

  4. God Damn It!!! Spent the better part of the day trying to figure out why I no longer had low or high beams working, yet they would flash if you pulled back on the combination switch. Cut out the remote central locking kit, thinking I may have wired something wrong in there, all to no avail. Spot lights worked, fog lights worked, everything worked bar the headlights. Had me absolutely stuffed what was going on. Swapped over all of the relays I could find, checked power everywhere, it just didn't make sense, nothing I did seem to make any difference. Turn the headlights on and you would have power there but no light, changed over the switch thinking it may have something to do with that, nope, still the same problem. Eventually in a last ditch effort I started tracing back all of the wiring, testing everything I could along the way, everything was perfect... Except... When I changed over to the tilt steering column, everything all plugged in and seemed to be sweet but NNOOOOOOOO... In their wisdom, there is a slight difference in the wiring at the plug from the indicator combination switch and the main loom. Didn't even think there would be an issue here, same plugs, same number of wires and at first glance, same wire combination. Swapped over to my original combination switch and all is well. I hate it when it takes so long to figure out such a simple little problem.

  5. if the 16s are the stock size, then basically do what Bennie said.. lower profile to keep the rolling diameter as close to stock as possible so it doesn't mess with the speedo/odo readings no special requirements otherwise - other than matching the bolt pattern & offset to avoid anything rubbing. you can use this to check the differences between stock & what you are wanting to put on: https://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

  6. Why not go 18s?? All you need to do is run a tyre with a lower side wall profile to keep the rolling diametre the same as stock/what its running now. Cheers Bennie

  7. As Moosens said..... I'll let it be. I have a serious problem believing the ODO though. My BRAT is in similar shape, WITH the decals (spent it's life in the garage of a 60-90 year old before I purchased it in 2005). Mine has original carpet in back, jump seat belts are just as nice, headrests are WAY nicer, mine has original plaid seats (which that one should, being a GL) mine has original mini york AC compressor, without hose clamps etc. Ok, I guess I'm not letting it be......... I am ecstatic about the price though!!

  8. Hello USMB family! It's Gloyale now FerGloyale After trying and tryting since hte site change, I was unable to recover my old account here. Don't have that ol' Earthlink or Charter or whatever the heck it was in 2004 ISP based email anymore! So I am back. Rocking some new subies in the stable, as well as the old favorites. I may not be as active as I once was on here......but likely I will be around quite a bit. If you are someone who I had PMs about getting parts from me please contact me, as I have lost all of those communications and contacts. Good to be back. Regards, FerGloyale

  9. Yeah they do That’s one of the reasons why I knew they could be found. The painful part is that the MT diff was listed AFTER the Auto Trans. That took me a moment or two to work out... Cheers Bennie
