  3. you just helped me out a TON!!! I didnt know AWIC exsisted.. lol i was trying to figure out how i am going to fit a radiator and intercooler into the front of the car.. the radiator is already going to have to be custom because there isnt alot of room.. but with the AWIC set up i should be able to make that work! THANK YOU!!! you didnt have to shorten your drive axles did you? my car is about 3 inches narrower so i am going to have to get custom ones made.. i see your located in Washington. Are you ever in the Portland area? I would be interested in seeing everything you have done to it.. I am about 30min south of Portland. also how did you build your ej22t? is it stock?or did you add some extras to it?

  4. @Step-a-toe Thanks! Haha, Well, small update. Actually, big update! Got the ECU working! Whipped out my test power supply, did some more fiddling, and isolated the grounds I need to get the ECU going. On my ottoman, in the living room, I was able to get 12V to the ECU, and with the test mode connectors hooked up, My main relay fired! Put 12v to my "switched" 12V annnnnddd FUEL PUMP RELAY is firing. Yay! FINALLY. I still have the SMJ in place. I think it was a combination of a loose connection in the SMJ, and I ran my "Power supply" ground coming to the ECU directly to the power supply source ground I am using, and got it working. So now I know, Ive got a ground off that Ive gotta fiddle with. But, the rest of my harness should be sound! I am hoping to have this thing running soon!

  5. Actually now found a 2008 with 77K on it for 3K Opinions on that one? I'm spooked about ANY of these newer Subaru engines!! I want reliability like I'm accustomed to with the EA71 EA81 and the EJ22 (up to 1996) Seems like all the newer engines are just fragile!

  7. What year ? I’m currently unloading some manuals, and lots of 1970’s parts. In my stash should be at least one FSM for something I owned like an 88 or 89. Complete sets are getting scarce I guess. Those later sections 4,5,6 you’d find nearly untouched. Pretty sure any I would have are going to be like that. Hoping to make more time at storage this weekend. If I find what helps you I’ll post back and message here.
