lost key no spear any ideas how to get started??

go to the junkyard look for a Subaru, and look in the floorboards, ashtray, center console, glovebox, even ignition switch for a key hanging around. I have several junkyard keys from early gen legacy to loyals, and they all work. Even my 92Leg key would start my Brat. My SVX key started the rescue wagon. Also, this thread should remind people to have a kill switch, use the CLUB Autolock, or unplug your fuel pump for extended public parking. -
nothing good can be had from fresh saltwater to a car. How can you keep your grease working in the bearings?

sensor in the seat, so that if no passenger is in the seat, the airbag is not active. This is so that if there is an accident, and there is not passenger in the seat, there is no reason for the airbag (500$) to explode since there is nobody there for it to save. this helps reduce the chance of a car being Totaled by insurance due to the Hugely expensive airbags. If you have a light that Never goes out even with someone there, then there is a problem, and yes, dealers only, as it has to have vehicle specific test equipment to read those codes, not something a standard code reader can handle.

Make a 4WD Beetle/Buggy using Subaru driveline wow that would be something

even as Subaru recommends Holts, it is JUST to get the car past the 100k warranty period, then, well, when the gaskets finally blow out, you still have to convert to newer headgasket design to keep the car on the road. As we have seen with the original posting member here, they added the conditioner and all is well for the time being. But, we know what is going on here, called bandaid.

ramdom questions about loyales
bheinen74 replied to loyalelover's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Supercharging it would make more sense. Well, neither is a good choice. The real solution to more power is a ej22 swap. done. or, if you are set on having a Turbo, then sell your car for whatever you can get for it, and then start looking around on craigslist for a factory Turbo car. then we can help you. The problem wit finding a factory turbo ea82 car is that the engine in their is going to be garbage. win for cheap price to buy the car, fail for what are you gonna do? Again, swap to ej22 and be done. -
its made by Holts really though, the correct fix is not this crap. the correct fix is getting the newer redesigned head gasket thru the subaru dealer only. There are many of the old design no name headgaskets still out there in the no name offbrand discount warehouses, and that is a no go. need to get oem from Subaru updated gaskets to fix properly, That particular EJ25 series engine has a 99% probability of Headgaskets letting go, anywhere from 50,000 miles to 150k miles. There are a few that have not let go yet, with more miles, but the probability it will, is quite high.

that 2003 with under 100k should be under warranty. you might not have done the correct thing here. A Subaru dealer would have repaired the leaking head gasket correctly by replacing them under the extended warranty campaign. Now you put that stop leak in, they wont be able to diagnose the leaking headgaskets correctly. sorry about this. big time screw up. you NEED to get the car to the nearest Subaru Dealer ASAP before it hits 100k, and let them inspect it maybe they will see the leaked coolant from when it was leaking. You need to do whatever it takes to get them to do warranty (FREE ) work to replace those gaskets so it is done correctly.

I am thinking yellow for the factory fogs would be much better than the way the factory designed them. tell more about the covers, and are the bulbs yellow without the covers. see in rain fog improved alot? My outback has the factory fogs, i am either wishing to -go yellow with covers so they actually do a good job -convert to driving lights, but since they are so low, probably bad -sell it

radiator hose diameters, size, location of outlet will be factors. why not just get a new one at radiatorbarn.com will save lots of hassle in the long run.

Do you have emissions inspection? An old obd1 EJ22T isn't going to pass. NOPE A stock EJ22T doesn't have any more power than a stock 2.5RS. Agree And less torque. agree IMO not really worth it. Now if you are just going to use the block, and build a nice engine with a big turbo, that's a different story. Thats the plan, I hope my block is good. Will need best advice for heads, engine management, etc. Is that the one that was for sale on nasioc? yep I was thinking about getting it. I thought the price was too high. possibly

oh, it has the 4x140 to 4x100 hub adapter plate thing. cool, not many go that route, although not sure why not, plenty of wheels for those around, any honda Civic basically, preludes, some.
