where are you shannon!!!!!!!!(86bratman)?????????
I called and talked to Shannon this morning. He said his computer decided to hate it's USB ports and is now without internet unless he goes to his parent's house. I asked if he was having some withdrawals from the board and he said he was. He also said he was having the luxury of working on wiring for a Camaro today so I wished him good luck with that.

Want a good laugh?
Im surprised to see that he his hated in many different areas of the internet community. From the looks of it, he failed 9th grade Physical Science.

Subaru Sambar - UPDATE!
You could tell it was a hot rod show just by pulling into Sevier County. All those old hot rods running rich you could really smell it in the air. I seen about 1,000 El Caminos and a frame for a Shelby GT 500 that the dude wanted $95,000.

Inner Axle Seal Blow Out
The brat had a blown cv when I bought it and it had slung grease everywhere. I later had the cv replaced in January. If I can get a chance today Ill get out there and take a picture of it.

Inner Axle Seal Blow Out
So while I was checking the status of my brakes today I noticed that I have a seal blow out where my CV axle meets the transmission [driver's side]. Looks like grease has been leaking out of it for some time now. Do you guys think this could be the source of my knocking sound at low speeds and maybe have something to do with my syncro issues? 2. What steps do I go about replacing this seal and can it be something that I can get at the local autozone? Thanks. Kyle.

My Progress Report
Probably going to be adding to that list of inner axle seal. I think thats what its called. Where the cv axle meets the tranny, I noticed today I was losing grease out of it. Lord knows where to start with that.

Worn Syncro Advice
I did a search of Redline products the local autozone carries and they only carry the fuel treatment stuff. Ill call around to some parts places today and see if they carry it. Also I notice that my tranny is only rated at 3.2 quarts per the general specification page. Would I need to add less of one to get it to work properly ?
-
Worn Syncro Advice
So I assume what I do is drain the tranny fluid and then add a quart of that and fill the remainder with regular tranny fluid? Or fill it with all Rislone?

Worn Syncro Advice
Thanks for your advice guys and thanks Mike for clearing up the typo error. Ill go by Autozone and look again on Sunday when I am on my way out to my dad's house to do the brakes on the BRAT. All the other gears are fine its just when going from reverse to first that I have some issues; most of the time I let out of the clutch and push in on it again to go back into gear but sometimes that doesnt even work and Im pushing as hard as I can to get it into gear.

Worn Syncro Advice
I looked for the "Reslone" product today that is mentioned in the USRM but couldnt seem to find it. What else do you guys recommend to add a little more life to my syncros? And please just dont say 5 speed swap.
