Its on the NGK site...but here it is: 2000 SUBARU LEGACY OUTBACK 2.5 H4 EJ25D2 EFI DOHC Spark Plug Part No. Stock No. Plug Gap Standard BKR6ES-11 5553 .044 V-Power BKR6E-11 2756 .044 G-Power Platinum BKR6EGP 7092 .044 Laser Platinum PFR6B-11 * 4014 .044 OE Laser Iridium IFR6E11 ^ 6741 .044 Iridium IX BKR6EIX-11 3764 .044 K&N air filter website says 33-2154 is the part number for that. Oil filters...well, the Subaru OEM ones are just Puralator...and they are cheap and decent filters. The PureONE filters are PL14460 and the regular ones are L14460. Sure, use synthetic oil. Do a search for it on the board. Some say different things...some pros and cons. Check it out.

I have a 2.2l Outback and its great. I average 24 - 25MPG...and get over 30 on the highway. It has nice ground clearence. It is comfortable. I also have a 1995 Legacy sedan...less ground clearence...gas mileage is a bit worse since it has 215,000 miles on it. Look around for a 2.2l engine and it'll last a long time.

A buddy of mine has a friend at college with a 1998 Outback Sport...and all the way from PA to Washington, DC we tried to go fast...but it would NOT go over 80MPH. I dunno why...my 2.2l Outback will do like 110 and my sedan almost 120 (with enough long roads to get up there) Change all the filters...get a tune up...all that. Then if that dosnt help...I dunno...heh. Just do some routine maintnece.

The original box is back on...but its connected to the MAF with ABS glue. So...i'll either need a new MAF sensor or the part before the sensor the bolts to the box. -

no, 22MPG isn't bad for city...but when it was all highway and I only got 22...thats bad. If I could average 25MPG...i'd be happy...or even 22 as an average would be ok. -

yeah...18 - 22 MPG really sucks. If I can't figure out why it went down from the 24MPG that it got when I got it...I dunno what i'm gonna do. Maybe buy a Geo Metro until prices go down. -
