Heh. I'd make some argument that the car was like a first child (that is, if you don't have children already but plan on having them some day)
Some day i'll have a WRX...no STi...but a WRX. Beautiful car.
You said it was not to comfertable...
I road down to Washington, DC (its like a 5 1/2 hour drive...it took us 8 hours because we made other stops) in a 1998 Impreza Outback hatchback...it was the mose un-comfortable car i've ever ridden in. The seats suck. I love the seats in my Legacy...they should use those in everything :-D
Oh man...just looking at those pictures makes me sad. I bumped into a pole the other day and I have a minor dent on the front passenger side of my Legacy...and I almost cried...and its not $30k+ car.
Nice STi
heh, when I first saw the name of the thread I was like 'this might be interesting' ...and when it was loading I realized it wasn't what I was thinking.
If you really care about getting performance then get a turbo or something that will add a good deal of power but will cost a bit.
Air filters, exhaust, etc.
Perhaps redoing the gear ratio? Maybe that will improve acceleration in lower gears?
They are sharp looking cars. You'll be happy with the 2.2l. I don't know if its the same as in the mid 90's Legacy's...but its a decent engine. It is not a fast car...i've had it up to 120MPH...but it took a while to get up there. Do they make Imprezas with a 2.5??
Long time no post. I've been busy with this whole college thing.
The clutch in my Subaru finally is all good...a local service station did it wrong...they claimed it was bad parts...so they did it again...and now its all good. Just shy of 200,000 miles on it. I need to get the brakes to stop squeeling...its annoying at hell...but I only hear it at lower speeds.
I am thinking about taking a few years off and working...i'd like to get one of those turbo Legacys when they come out...they look damn swell.
mmm...a twin turbo in a Legacy would be sweet...I might concider getting a newer one then if it came with a 2.0l twin turbo instead of a 2.5l.
I don't think they had them in the U.S.
Get a new air filter...get a new exhaust system. If you want to spend money get a turbo for it. It is a 1.8l...without a turbo there isn't to much that can be done to make it really fast.
Yeah...when I got my new clutch redone I thought it was so weird...but then again they messed it up too...but i'm taking it in today or tomorrow to have it looked at.
