6 lug rim conversion
the lug pattern itself is 6 lugs on a 5.5 inch circle, aka 6x5.5, which is what almost EVERY six lug rim is. I have no idea what the backspacing should be really, but I run 29x10.50 tsl/sx swampers on a 15" nissan rim and the backspacing is just about perfect, no rubbing after bfh and extend less than 2" from body.

intake bolt woes....*edit: weber swap complete w/ some pics pg 3*
ok heres the situation, after attempting a simple intake manifold swap(stripped down intake with a weber replacing stock intake w/ hicrappy), there was one bolt that broke off flush with the head, and I've tried numorous things: pb blaster, heating, reverse drill bit, ez-out, etc... unfortunately when I was drilling the hole, I didnt get it perfectly centered so pretty much I got most of the bolt out, but the hole is fubar. what are my options? I have a couple of spare mystery heads in the basement which I got from ryan, but I'm not prepared for swapping heads, and I'm practically broke at this point, but if I replace the heads I will most likely want to get the valves lapped or whatever and have the head milled and replace the valve seals etc.. anyways I'm about to throw tools at things that break so Im gonna take a little break... some input/advice/help plz

Outback with Swampers Video
thats cool.... and trust me a time will come when you will appreciate those tires. after having offroaded my beast with the tsl/sxs and then offroaded my stock subaru with stock bald touring tires and having seen some of the difficulties scoobyclimbs has had with lack of traction when he gets off to the side in ruts, you will definately appreciate those tires at some point in time, that and they are incredibly tough tires.

H4s/HID for 4 beam ea81s...
wondering if anyone can point me in the proper direction to find some? I'm really looking for h4s cause I cant afford HID, but the local parts store doesnt show any listings for H4s and only show a low beam listing for HID.

Need lots of lift advice
yo also make sure you got the rear tires off the ground when you do it, will take a LOT of the stress off that bolt and make it easier to turn.

wheeling this saturday 06-24-06... crooked finger?
I may or may not be able to, but if I can I will. I'll be in a stock rig, but at least it has a skid plate I just need to make sure to bring a few spare tires cause the tires on it are questionable...

Vinyl Care & Restoration
yeah, my car originally came from california and has TONS of interior sun damage, however, its my wheeling rig so I havent done squat about it. Most I've done is taken off all the plastic inside

wheeling this saturday 06-24-06... crooked finger?
I would have taken a picture of that... but if it runs why ruin it intentionally...? I wasnt quite highcentered, had plenty of traction but didnt have enough power, gearing and clutch to get off of it under its own power.

wheeling this saturday 06-24-06... crooked finger?
hahaha... wow I had almost forgotten about that, good times. I felt like such an idiot when I did that, I'm really surprised that actually worked. Anyways I'll never leave someone I went to go wheeling with behind if they get stuck, but it sucks getting stuck like that in general.

hey sorry... man I'm a hypocrit no hard feelings. body damage wasnt intentional, just wanted to see how far I can go, which is what wheeling is all about right?

Need lots of lift advice
4" should be a good amount of lift, tho you could go with 6" and fit some 29x10.50 or probably some 30x9.50. for lift in the rear I'd clock the torsion bar one notch and maybe use 2" blocks along with that, and get something to lower your diff back down so you can retain stock axles angles. As far as rear shocks go, get longer shocks, dont get a bracket to drop the mount so you use stock shocks, get longer ones... the amount of extra travel you will gain is pretty incredible. even with 29" tires on my rig braking is still pretty good, I can still lock up the tires, just have to press harder. Another thought I've been toying with is changing the mounts on the torsion tube to angle it downward to gain a little lift but still be able to maintain good camber.

Alittle work done to my bumper...
cool... but dont be surprised when you're lights fill with water being upside down like that, cause dont most offroad lights have a drain hole somewhere in the bottom? at least all of the ones i've had do other than the sealed beam ones
