  7. Here are some picks from my lift day(S). I forgot to mentin to do the rear first, then the front. its easier that way IMO. [/url]
  8. This is just some basic info to get you familliar with the overall picture. if you can,Print the digram that I drew, and (SAFELY) look under your car and I.D. the main components, were the cross members meet the body. this is were your lift blocks will go. Think of it like the cars body is one crust of a OREO cookie, and the crossmembers are the other crust, and the lift is the cream filling. Spread the crusts apart, and squize in the filling!!!!!!!!!!tis should help you get familiar with things. On my lift, the struts are 4" towers,3" engine crossmember,2" on the trans crossmember. upper radiator hose 3 inches longer, anti pitch rod(that wierd bracket from the firewall to the engine), and the steering shaft extention. Thats basically it othe than a few minor mods/tweeks/pounding/trimming. On the rear, 4" shock bracket,3" diff drop(on the mustache bar),2"on the diff"s front mount. You should be able to see each part on the ddiagram below. Its crude, and maynot match each discription perfectly, but should help the mistery.
  9. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!. There are a ton of people on here that have done it. The kit is made for your car(.p.s. you picked the best),the biggest challenge for me was the steering shaft. the rest is basic stuff. here is a start for details, ill get some pictures up in a little bit. and im sure others can post some helpfull stuff. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=85496
  10. Sorry to hear your tough story, and the timing of it. , Im sure im not alone to say, thank the powers that be for GOOD PEOPLE. crab out. I do dig the blue legacy.
  11. Nice going on the rock auto:clap: . on the rack, all you need is 8 longer screws, @$2.50. the mounts slide for easy adjustment. l think its guarenteed fit.
  12. Love the two snugglin.  in the pic. My eyeball estimate is the mounts should fit cross bars that dont exceed 4 inches wide and 3 inches tall. under that,it should'nt need any mods. The company that makes it is called "RAGE".
  13. THATS IT.!!!!!!!!!!!! Im making a cobcob/bratilla voodoo set. complete with spike strips, and lowerback pain tool. Scratch the spikestrips, we cant risk damage to those beautifull,German !4's. ill kink the fuel line. off and on so it pesters you more. I better be nice, I almost needed you,and the brat or outback to yank me out of that water crossing.
  14. Connie, it should be a simple install, if your roof rack has the cross pieces. on mine, l tossed the parts in a pile and slapped it together. in the diagram i made look at the red. its very universal, if its like my 92 explorer, it would have went on there in 7-10 minutes.
  15. THANX:grin: its a blast to drive, it scoots pretty good. cant wait till l swap rx gears and swap the wagon d/r 3.9s.
  16. Thanx guys. The funny thing is, that the great match was not planned, just got lucky:cool:
  17. Pretty unlikely, that was my thought. I ,cops, have an exact list. insurance paid. Ill order more.
  18. YEA,its worth every penny, the size, and angles match the subes.
  19. SWEEEEET. sounds great. Subpar, probably not alot of RX's in the states, there are a couple in AU. (SELF HIJACK) Oh yea,the water pic in cobcobs backyard is a whole different thread. no embarassing pics. Put it like this, it took 20 minutes and $5.50 at the carwash to suck all the water out. Lesson learned.DONT EVER SAY"IT DOESNT LOOK THAT DEEP". The r-f was over the right headlight, the left rear was was bobbing in the air. rear -r tire on slick moss . the front tires spinning/digging into golfball size loose river rock. 2.5-3 ft drop off the slab. after struggling small steps, l drove out. ///LSD\\\
  20. MCBRAT MADE THESE Thanx mick. heres a better pic. HEREs the bad news...........my car got broke into in my driveway.5 cars intown got hit.lost all the rest of the decals/xtra material. NOBODY else has that material? right? so if l see some, on someones car= 911:dead: ??????????????? what does McBrat think?? jvc cd/ bct8 trunktracker lll scanner tools ect. AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE:banana:  theyre great. I got some on the car atleast. but lost the perks that mick generously set me up with.
  21. Rob,did you notice how well the angles matched. It would look great on your hatch!!!!. It would fit perfect. Well worth the money.
