  4. legacy engine, i think, he's getting the cam work done at delta. last time i talked to him he was starting to get all of the computer and wiring stuff figured out. still trying to get him to drive his 'pavement queen' down here:rolleyes: oh, BTW his name is bob b. -mike

  6. hhmmm....portland, thats where my camera is:rolleyes: . anyways, i've had the car for 2 or 3 weeks, which is about i'll say about 70 hours i been working on it. i pulled the valve covers after draining the h2o/oil, and found in each cover something resembling a small freeze plug, which i figure is prolly why the car got parked. i'll pop those back in and see if that fixes the prob*cross fingers*. -mike
  7. the ea-63 is pert much a water cooled v-dub engine. the exhaust comes out the front and back of each head. so... 2 headers, merge under car, single exhaust out the rear. really neat. i'll get some under-side pics when the camera gets back. richie, where are you in oregon? pm/e-mail me about some details -mike
  8. well, it's time to re-change the oil:-\ , i've never seen something take so long to fill the radiator, thought 'hmmm, this is strange' checked the oil and sure 'nuff it was almost half way up the stick:banghead: . hopefully it is only the head gaskets, and i'm glad i just ordered some. so.... time to pull the engine and check it out. -mike

  16. cool, that takes care of the coil. but i think that i am missing a grommit or the attachment jobber for the points to hook to on the inside, and every thing else on the outside. -mike

  20. there's another wagon in medford for $850, but i didn't get a #. red with d/r trans, cruise control, 193,000 miles, and a brush guard:headbang: . guy said it was fun to wheel in! i'll see if i can get a pic, and # tomorrow. laterz, -mike

  22. dunno if it right, but it says 90,666.2 i think its lying i guess that it is more like 200,000+ cause i drove it for three months and the mileage stayed at 87,253. this is in the '75 "super star" wagon -mike
  23. points/condensor wires, and coil and resistor block. pretty much where do i hook this wire and the condensor wire. and does the single wire connect to the neg. side of the coil?

  25. $120 a month liability on my '75. it was the same for my '79 mercury, and the insurance lady told me "you can go buy a new corvette, and it will stay the same price". it goes down to $60 in june:headbang: -mike
