actually, i was thinkin about leaving it off if it wasn't stock(after paint), but i kinda like the way it looks, so i guess i'm gonna go ahead and keep it. thanks all -mike

i looked at some of the pics of gen 1 cars and the brochures in the old gallery, and i can't seem to find any others with it. anyway, my question is, is the trim on my wagon(rubber bumper style) stock, a dealer add-on, or something someone rivited on later on. -mike

how long is a while exactly? that happened to me on my '74, i was filling the rad. and it was taking too long, pulled the dipstick just to see, sure 'nuff, engine full of water. turns out the freeze plugs in the heads popped out while it was sitting, yours may have a bad head gasket. just a thought... -mike -
ah, the twelve cylinder... -mike

$75 for an entire gen 1 front crossmember assembly(everything but the engine) with a complimentary drivers seat and some other assorted hardware/ goodies. i think they just wanted to go home:rolleyes: -mike

chevy luv, nissan, datsun, um... couirer -mike -
when i talked to bob yesterday(called me at work to say i was the first to know it was running strong) i asked wether or not she would be ready for WCSS, and he said that she is pretty much just a rolling shell with a drivers seat. next step is to pull the motor and get the engine compartment painted, and all cleaned up, then on to body work and such. so, unless they are working like they do on tv:rolleyes: , we won't be seeing it at WCSS. -mike

75skunkaroo replied to avatar382's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
if you do cut that down, make sure that you leave the little hole for the cotter pin/ nail/ safety retension device that keeps the nut from spinning off if it becomes loose -mike -
