Can't you let your oldest and Ken's boy drive one. lol My Mom's got a lead foot in her new RV. Try and keep up. Shawn will have at least some company, it's a VW chassis.

Little Math problem. . .
I don't know, but I doubt it. I re-learned at the Rubicon that really hate the desert. My only wheeling buddy these days will be shotgun with me, he'll probably want to. Ya know, I'm not sure which clutch or flywheel I'll be using.

Ok, but that's the last question I'm gonna answer for free to anybody who's been at a WCSS before. After this, 10 bucks per question, pm me where to send pay pal. Like the last 2 years. 10 dollars per night per tent/car. 15 dollars per night per R/V.

More like 3 or 4 inches. I need to be able to drive it to Utah when it's done. It will be a daily driver after that.

No man, I'm gonna put the 2.2 into the green wagon in the picture. The legacy is the donor. I'm hoping to sell the tranny and a couple of other parts to finance the deal. Hoping to be as close to free as possible all said and done. Then I'm gonna give it to an old buddy of mine who needs a car. The legacy is a sedan.

Cool. Scoobyclimbs is also a local to the Hood River area. He has been working the last couple of months to get a trail run together. ie: scout and pick a route and map it up and lead the group. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59379 Feel free to contact him with your suggestions. This is his gig.

2.2 offroad 84 wagon. . . The legacy is good and munched in the rear, hence the "free" part.

What does 1+1 equal? 2.2!! I grabbed up Matt's pickle wagon. (THANKS MASS TO TEX FOR HAULING IT FOR ME!!!!!!!) The name will change soon. lol While working out getting it here last week, I was approched on another board and asked if I wanted a free legacy. Uh. . . OK. Got it here last night, managed to drive it most of the way, but one of the radiator hoses came off so we pulled it the rest of the way with my Toy. Whoever had it before the guy who gave it to me cut the radiator hoses to remove the radiator. So we kinda jimmied it in there. Got hot, shut it off. Why is this in the Off Road? Cuz for the first time in some time, I'm gonna let you guys in on my project as it progresses. I'll add to this thread as I go. I expect to get it on the road in the next 90 days. I don't have near as much time to work on it as I used to with an 18 month old running around demanding my attention. So no crying about me having a secretmobile this time. lol I know it pisses some of you off to not know for some reason.

Hey nice to almost meet you. That was me in the WCSS8 shirt that congradulated you. Pretty car. Rally X there is rough on the rides. I went off the road on the way out and messed up my rear wheel a little. . .

Wondering where your thread is?
If it doesn't have to do with Subarus, it has no business here in the Off Road Forum. Please post your off topic threads in the Off Topic Forum and wait for them to be approved. Posting them here is not going to get them approved and moved to the Off Topic Forum, it will get them deleted. Thanks for your cooperation. Eric Zap

I'd recommend the Hood River Brewery. Downtown. Follow the smell of hops.

Help with classes for WCSS8?
Here's what I came up with. I sent the list via email, it's out of my hands. 1) vintage/classic (maybe make these 2) gen 1 (70s) two one class) 3) gen 2 (ea81) 4) gen 3 (ea82) 5) xt/svx 6) legacy gen 1,2 (outback's included) 7) legacy gen 3,4 (outback's included) 8) impreza 93-01 (including OBS) 9) impreza 02+ (including STI, it's an impreza too) 10) baha, forester. tribeca 11) best in show off road 12) best in show street 13) best engine swap.

Problems Installing Lift
Hatches, Brats, and Wagons are all different in the rear when it comes to shock mounts. Even if they use the same shock. No cutting is required. The BFH is your best tool. Just beat them back until the bottom of the "U" fits. That is the better option. I'll stand by my belief that the stock shock's travel is best suited for these little cars. Longer travel shocks are when you start busting stuff more. ie: axles and stubs (or you're not wheeling it that hard)

Help with classes for WCSS8?
What are the different models likely to show up? I'm gonna compile this list tonight, then send it to Rallitek to have the trophies made. We have a really cool idea how to make them this year. Something folks will want to keep. Go!

It's looking like meals served Saturday a.m. and dinner, and Sunday a.m. too. Lunch Saturday will be at their consessions booth. ie: hot dogs and hamburgers. I believe dinner price is 7 bucks, breakfast is $5. Subaru West will also be there serving chili again!!

Didja know there's gonna be a Rally X School type thing at WCSS*/
Yessir!! Primitive Racing is going to throw a Rally X school on Sunday the 27th. Prices will go like this. $15 for one run, 5 bucks for each additional run. 10 bucks per run with an instructor. Or, there's a package deal. 35 bucks gets you 3 runs with an instructor. The instructor will give some pointers before and after each run as well. We'll be adding this info to our website soon as well. http://www.westcoastsubarushow.com/

I saw several of mine, even my new white one. Los Dios, can I have a copy of that on CD if I give you my snail mail addy. I've got a pretty good stack of members' videos and pics on cd and dvd. In time, I'll hand it off to someone for editing and compiling everybody's stuff who gives me permission.
