So day is coming up. Whats the plan?

This is the on reason i regret moving from washington. I loved WCSS. I wish we could have it more central west. Like in Northern CA or Utah. Or anywhere closer. LOL Cant make it this year, cause i live in CO now. I just dont wanna put that many miles on my WRX.

Considering i may be buying a brat from a certain someone. i would wanna go. Meet some of the old school subie folk!

I drove my EA 82T on a 17 hr trip. and only stopped for gas when i was low. the only problem i ran in to was my Steering rack started to leak on to the exhaust. causing me to FREAK out cause i thought it was the Rad. but after close inspection it wasnt. A smoky and hard steering ride but who steers on the highway anyway? lol got home ok though. no overheats at all!!!!!! And yes i did say it was a ea82t;)

Stay with subaru. If you are a true subaru enthusiest you will regret going toyota. I made that mistake. and i hated that i went to toyota. I got a lifted toyota pickup truck. and everyday i hopped in to i regreted buying it and not a subaru. I now own a 86 RX sedan and am very very happy!

Well i am a big maybe!! I would be driving aways but it would be fun! besides portland, OR is my home town and it would be good to see some old friends while i was near the area. All really depends on if i can get my project done in time! 86 rx4 with ej2.2t or Ej20G swap.

Well black and white graphics, blue with yellow/blue graphics, and i personally would like a grey with black graphics to match my rx lolz

uhhh who said anything about a heavy car? a rx doesnt weigh that much. and they are avalible came on some loyales. theres a shop that has rebuilt one for 150.00 or i car replace my current power steering for 270.00 i would rather save the 120.00 bucks in to other stuff that add power

i thought about doing the xt6 rack but its got that electronic crap i gotta swap over right? i havnt done to much research on them but i heard all though they improve ratio they are more likly to fail? i think i am going to go the manual route seems easier

well considering my PS pump is going bad it seems to draw more and more power. I think it would be cool to just not have Power steering. Feel like a real race car! lol and i could build up my arms so the ladys would go crazy! hahahaha:banana:

So my power steering rack has been leaking and the other day i was thinking. So i got a pretty big power gain from taking out the AC. would i even get more power taking out the PS rack and pump and putting a manual steering rack in?? Less accessorys for the crank to run. plus my car is light enough where it wont be too much of a hassle to turn. it would also help when i do my engine swap. (EJ22T) less lines and crap to join together. and it would clean up the engine bay alot. my one concern is the steering ratio. would that change? cause i like the (go kart) feel of my rx

I think i am just going to put in a manual power steering rack that way i can get more power!!

Hey my Ps rack is doing the same thing. I am so tired of it cause i cant seem to figure out what i need to do to fix it i am thinking of just replaing the whole rack. they have one at advance auto parts for 260.00 rebuilt.
