  1. I'm considering running the WRX downpipe now I know I need to weld on an 02 bung but besides that what other modifications do I need to do ? I heard something about there being a rubbing issue ? what do I need to grind down/remove to solve that. Thanks guys.
  2. what time would you guys be coming threw Olympia, WA ? I live seriously 3 blocks from the on ramp so I could probably just hop on the freeway and catch up. Anyone else have a CB radio ? I just got one at a garage sale I just need an antenna now.
  3. ha thanks I'm swaping over a spider intake so I had to get a new hood seeing as my old hole was well useless don't worry I'll be cutting a hole in this one too
  4. I've got 2 hellas up front as you can see here I believe they are actually legal to use as high beams because they are so close to the hight of my stock lights. I'm looking at getting 2 more so I can do a rally 4 light pod kind of setup but just the two do a damn fine job of lighting up the road.
  5. I hope so. I'm still pretty miffed cause this just killed any chance of me having the wagon running by saturday night (it was a slim chance but I had one damnit)
  6. yea there is NO possible way that these belts are for the EA82 they don't even fit the guides. I'm gonna call the company tomorrow they are just over in Yakima and hopefully I'll get some new ones out of it.
  7. so I just went to put on my timing belts. the tensioners where perfect lined up just right with the old ones wham bam thank you mam. Idler went on no problem... BUT when I went to put the belts on my larger drivers side belt is on somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 inches to long and my smaller passenger side belt is oh about 6 inches to short. I am running them correctly, well I'm 99% sure I am. Even if i wasn't the smaller belt is to short to even go straight from the crank to the cam gear on both sides. I do believe I've been screwed fokes. I bought my kit from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1986-1994-Subaru-1-8-GL-DL-Loyale-Timing-Belt-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33625QQitemZ8075637336QQrdZ1 them thats the exact auction I got it from and yes they will be receiving a call from me at 10 am tomorrow. I mean what If I had just bought the kit as an emergency replacement for just incase if one broke while I was up snowboarding I would be royal F'ed. pardon my rant I'm just a little bit miffed.
  8. Nice! are you running a boost controller or is stock boost on the TD04-13G wastegate 10psi ? I'm welding my up pipe and down pipe today or tomorrow so I'll have my TD04L on and ready to go for WCSS 8 perhaps we'll have to find some open highway on the way there or back
  9. Registered and paid! now I just have to finish putting everything back together.
  10. HOLY CRAP I want that digi dash for my car!
  11. When I get my wagon up and running, hopefully in the next week or so (knock on wood). I'll have some movies coming out. maybe we can make a compilation. I have a GL-10 though not a loyale vid so I don't know if we are gonna get along
  12. I need to get my wagon back up and running asap but I'm having major problems and well it takes a big man to admit when he needs help so WAAHHHH I need help! The short story is I burnt out my clutch then started doing things that I thought should be done while the motor was out, some stuff got broken (long story) so now I have a TD04 turbo and flanges. I also have a spider intake and no clue how to get fuel to it. Also since the intake swap all of the pictures I'd taken of my hoses are pretty much worthless. Now it seems like every time I go to work on it something gets broken. things I need 3 of the longer water pump bolts some how 3 jumped out of my zip lock bag and ran away Help making a fuel rail setup to work with the spider intake, or just a spider intake fuel rail if someone's got one the sensor for my Oil pressure ? I think ? the one down there by the oil filter yea well its toast. a whole new set of injector screws ALL of mine are rusted on / strip the second I touch them tons of exhaust/turbo studs and nuts a new set of injectors could be nice too since I'm finding it next to impossible to get the ones on there off and just a lot of help in general So if ANYONE is in the olympia area or is going to be in the olympia area give my phone a call 360-259-1859 any help is appreciated. Oh I'm pretty much working on it every day after work (I get off at 3:30pm) and I don't work friday / saturday so I'm gonna be working on it all then so any help those days would REALLY help.
  13. did you use the Spyder fuel rail ? the spider intake I got didn't come with a fuel rail and I know I can make one out of fuel line I saw a picture of WJM's engine bay where he did it I'm just trying to figure out How to do it. As in what needs to get hooked up to what and in what order.
  14. I'm currently in the process of doing it I have my TD04 right now and the motor is out of the car I don't know exactly what I'm gonna have to do as far as coolant lines but I know I'm gonna have to do something. As far as I know this is what you need #TD04 turbo (duh) #A way of bolting the turbo up to your up pipe and down pipe so flanges, custom manifold/down pipe, it will NOT bolt up to your stock ones so don't #even think about that #a way of hooking up all the coolant lines #a way to plum it in with your intake system I don't think it will bolt up to the stock intake (again I THINK it wont) plus you should be running an intercooler at this point if your already not so just plum it in with that. is that about right guys ?
  15. Your gonna need at least a welder or $300 for a TWE manifold.
  16. my limo tint on my wagon is starting to bubble and has a scrape in a place or two so I'm looking at redoing the windows there is this really expensive place downtown olympia. I stopped by the other day on my lunch break just to look around it looks like when they do car windows they take the glass out of the doors to do em, is that normal or is that something that they do to get extra $$ ?
  17. I'm sure they make some kind of aftermarket springs for the legacy that could drop you down a few inches. did you use legacy stuff in the rear ?
  18. would anybody happen to have the WRX flange ? I can't find one at any of the junkyards around me. I know http://www.uniquemotorsports.com/products/IHI_flange.htm these guys sell em I might just go with that.
  19. do wrx up pipes bolt up to the EA82 crossover pipe ?
  20. Ohhh the joys of power windows! just unplug it and your good to go!
  21. thankey, I just need to get my flywheel resurfaced, pick up my new crossover+up pipe and TD04, wait for the flanges to come in the mail and weld them up then put it all back together.
  22. thankey, I just need to get my flywheel resurfaced, pick up my new crossover+up pipe and TD04, wait for the flanges to come in the mail and weld them up then put it all back together.
  23. seeing as you have to pull the motor out to swap the clutch I did... Timing belts Water pump Oil pump Valve cover gaskets main seal Oil pan (my had a hearty dent)
  24. thats my current IC setup. I found some turbos for the "right" price but finding the up up pipe and down pipe TD04 flanges are giving me a bit of a problem does anyone have some or know where I can get some for cheap ? I'm also looking for the entire stock crossover and up pipe my had some issues with rust and holes.
