I'm already running a wrx intercooler so hopefully it will just be easier to reinstall my motor I found a guy who will give me one for $100 (I pick up) and hes gonna toss in a stock WRX up pipe and down pipe so I can cut the flanges off

Ohhh the kevlar makes me want to do naughty things to myself I got it from Roger at Clutch & Break of Asheville WJM referred me to them. The clam is that it will grab aprx 45% harder then my stock one. Then again my stock one is smooth as a babies bottom, its more toast then well toast. And the price was the best I could find, cheaper then anything else. $205 + $8 = $213 Shipped from 28801 to 98501. Now I just need a new manifold and turbo and I'm ready to rock!

how much can your wagon tow with that hitch ? I'm looking into getting one for towing around a qad I'm considering buying

There was a bit of an "incident" yesterday in which my turbo took a good hearty blow (now there is some decent shaft play) and my up pipe/crossover pipe was damaged also. So that means its time for an upgrade right ? I've been doing a tad bit of research trying to figure out which turbo would be best to upgrade with. I'm not looking for anything more then 10psi thats all I want any more then that is unwelcome. can anyone give me some ruff numbers on a VF11 and TD04 on a stock EA82 (IE no delta cams) from what I've read the TD04 isn't going to give me a hearty amount of boost until 3.5k and the VF11 is going to be at about 2.5-3k how bad is the lag all the way to 3.5k ? this is my daily driver so I try to stay out of boost to help out my wallet. Then again I'd like the power to be there when I need to pass or just am in a hurry. Another plus of the TD04 is that I can find em nice and cheap ($100) over on NASIOC I haven't been able to find any VF11's for sale. So give me your opinions on these turbos!

anybody know of or work at a shop around Olympia ? all efforts have failed and I just want this sob off. Things I've tried already Breaker bar + 4 foot extention me lifting my self off the ground while holding onto the bar (I weigh 210lbs) hitting it with an impact gun for an hour or so heating it up with a torch and then trying both of the above

like the ones they have in vehicles for handycaped? where there are absoutly no pedals ? I'm assuming you can buy just the troddle control no say if you can hook it up to work with your regular pedal AND the hand control but I'd say thats someplace to start looking. -

can some one confrim that I am loosing the bolt with lefty loosy ? or is it reverse thread ?

yea I'm using 2 pressure plate bolts part of the engine side belhousing, and one of the lower engine studs to pry agenst

oh the flywheel isn't going anywhere we got that on lockdown impact wrench it is thanks guys.

so I wasn't smart enough to loosen the bolt before I removed the engine from the car. My bad. but i've been putting MORE then enough force on it to get it to come off me and my buddy are lifting the motor up trying to loosen it. is there some kind of ancent secret to getting it off!?

aftermarket ones ? preferably one that would let me bolt up a bigger turbo say out of WRX/STI. I heard Tech Works Engineering made them but I can't find any on their website and I sent them a few e-mails with no responce. Anyone know how to get one of their mani's or who else I could get one from ?

Spent most of today getting my engine ready to pull. jesus H the clutch fan was hard to get off, I had to go buy a longer 10mm wrench to get it off I'm not looking forward to putting that back on. other then that everything went smooth other then a sticky DP bolt but WD-40 took care of that. Until it came time to pull the AC compressor out of the way, I've got the alternator off and now i'm quite puzzled as to how the hell I get the damned thing off. I've tried just about every bolt I can find even the 2 below it is it just stuck or am I missing something ? thanks!

I've got a really good set of AT tires on the wagon now. I'm looking mainly for a set of REALLY good snow tires I know snow + speed isn't a good idea so I'd like to make it as safe and fun as possible.
