  1. Heres a few Ive heard of or know of. 1400 rear disk brakes. Omega electronic disty. On my old car. Was a 1989 or 91? and EA71. I could not seem to find the correct cap for it. Tryed every where. In the end had to convert it to points since it was so oddball. Hydraulic suspension. Cant exactly remember if it was on leone or omega shape wagon. I got to talk to the guy that had it.
  2. I think there was a guy on Clubsub that was getting some adapters made up. He mite have one or get one made for you? There was also a engineering place on trademe that was selling some. I think it was a engineering place in Canterbury.
  3. Sadly I never got a copy of it. It was years and years ago. dad pointed it out to me in the book store.
  4. Isnt that the 1st Subaru factory backed race car? I thought I read that some where on here? Ive always thought I like to see a wee 1400 turbo GSR. But I wouldnt do that to my one. If Ive ever got another one that was a bit ruff I mite.
  5. I remember seeing a artical in a Car Mag and it showed all the old cars guys were still driving in your country. There was a pic of a guy driving a brown 1400 or 1600 station wagon. I remember it had lots off rust all over it.
  6. thats a nice find. good to see another one saved
  7. Thats a very early 73. The Woodgrain dash looks nice. Man that looks sooo good.
  8. why not use vice grips to get the old brake nuts to go loose and get some new brake pipes made up. Its pretty cheap. Thats what I did on my 1400.
  9. I just brought that on DVD a few weeks ago. Man it was good to watch again. Havnt seen it in atleast 15 years.
  10. Nope rubbers are shot. I would love new rubbers for my GSR aswell due to them leaking. I Read theres about a few mm difference between the sedan and coupe rubbers.
  11. Thats a good idea for a meet up. Not kean for offroading tho. Dont want to get any of mine dirty lol. Plus ive sold my brumby a while ago. Other wise I would had used that.

  12. There were Geniune Rally parts avaible for the RX. But I would say they are all used up by now. As far as I know they arnt listed in Parts books and were only a seprate documents saying those parts numbers and setting etc. You could get forged pistons, Springs and shocks and lots more. Like I said theres be no chance in Hell they would be avaible now.
  13. I would check that too. Had same problem on my old leone SW. there was bearly .5 mm pad lift on. Replaced it and the sound went away. Also prehaps you should check for wear on the slides the cailper moves on???
  14. Its intresting to see you are using a 6 Jaw chuck. What are the reasons of using one compaired to using a 3 or 4 Jaw chuck? Do all the Jaws move together at once? Thanks.
  15. All I no is that the mates car was abandoned at the waft near dimond harbour. They werent able to do the last bit of filming because the actor broke the key off in the ignision barrel. The original car was actully a 74ish? Datsun 1600 sedan . But they were not able to find one let alone one with a Tow bar. So They used my car. It was right period and had a towbar
