ok i got it all fixed but i was wondering the dash has a little car on it that says hight controlle can i contol the hight or dose the car do it itself ?? thanks Rob

ok so i have been going over this car and i figur i should tell you what all i have found here it gose: The Good:digidash with all options,4 wheel disk,good turbo,good engine,working power wndows & sunroof,good trip odomiter/clock/alarm/ave.mph, tinted windows,good rear seats, great aluminum gl10 wheels, push 4x4 works. ok now for the bad:has cracked windshield,has no front seats,needs drivers seat belt,had hundreds of bees nests in it ,it was full of hay,has pass. tail light busted, drivers head light busted out, front blinkers have been taken out,hatch has been hit and dented the rear bumper is gone. but between the good and the bad its work keeping Rob

no its kittitas thtas what we call it here lol. but i looked around i pulled the aluminum thing off the top that runs the turbo into the intake and omg it was so dirty in there i used a couple cans of carb cleaner on it and the intake. then i tryed it again it started fine then idled down and died so i look some more and i find that the rubber hose that runs from the air box has a big gash in it from the hose clamp so i pull it off and use some rubber repair suff on it then as im doing this i find a bunch of stuff on the turbo unhooked like vacume lines and all that so ui hook them all back to ther right spots and try it again. runns beter but the gas pedal feels bunny so i check the throtle cable it severly loos i tighten it up then i see thet a sensor or jet thing idk what it was but its on top of the intake and has a red and black wire to it that was less thatn finger tight so after all that i get in it and turn her over fires right up and idles like a dream it gets hot quick tho so im gona check top make shur the thurmostat is opening (for some reason no one that i buy thes cars from ever changes it and they rust or corrode) i hate neglagents Rob:burnout:

ok so i got this new car it is an 86 soob 4x4 push button 5speed turbo ea82 it runs but really sputtery and such then when the key is in the on position ther is a clicking sound the lights dim and i hear lish faint noise form the passenger side and the computer box under the sterring colum has a light that blinks when this is going on any help pleas thanks Rob:burnout:

hey guys i got a hell ofa story to tell you: Ok so i was sitting at home today with my gf and the phone rings a guy i know was asking for my dad and said ther was a tool sale in k town so i was like sweet.So beth and i went to the sale i got a 295 amp arch welder brand new then an engine lift a porable air tank and a few other goodies as i am loading them up the guy taht called me says hey i just towed a subaru to the junk yard the title all signed off and such looks just like your wagon (86 d/r wagon) turns out it was in a barn and the guy PAID him to take it OMFG so i was like really cause i need the axles and misc. parts. we finaly leave the tool sale im on my way to look at this car we pull in and i think its just a plain jane wagon im looking around im like ok cool nothing specail im about to get it in the car when my gf says hey it has turbo doors i kinda lagh i get out and look shure as ************ it has a turbo door then i see the gl10 bage on the back(at this point im freaking)then i see the dash DIGITAL then i open the hood and turbo baby i was soo siked i almost passed it up because i wasent paying attention so we tow it home and i look it over it has alot of the options they came with all the trip odomiter and options there the digi dash with ride hight sensor and outside temp gage much much more sun roof electric windows IT RUNS everything works its a 1986 wagon push button 4x4 5 speed i knew it was gonna be a good day Rob:burnout:

well i run my soob without a thurmo cause i mostly drive it in the summer and i have a problem with them not letting anought water throught in the summer to keep it cool and now it will run cool on harly any rad fluid. chec the thurmo

lol tell me about it i had the same thing happen exept the rocks moved down and out of the way so it was smootha driving through the river

yeah everything works great i have an exoust fan in the hood and it pulls all the hot air out and the cluch fan on the front pulls in cool air

i had that same problem it was the alt just got one for 5 bucks at the J yard lol oh and once it was a loose conection behing the cluster someone replaced it and didnt get hem all snugg 9ps the gauges went on and off too so dont worry aobut ur dash) Rob:burnout:

ok i have had this problem i had a very small leak in my rad like a smal rock hit it whne it would start it would steam a lil bit but once the thermostat opend up it stopped but u said ther wasent any coolent loss so hmmm try taking it to a car wash and using the high power sprayer and make shur ur rad dosent have any bugs weeds and grass and all that good stuff in it it wont let air through:burnout:

hell yeah lol my pipe fell of right before the cat sounded like i was under water blublublublub lol 2 days later i got an original chery bomb out of storage been ther 4 ever my moms ex bought it in 1970 so i put on it not to the back just to the y pipe itself no cat straght chery bomb'n oh and a turn down the heater works good enough as is lol:burnout: :burnout: Rob

hey i made a set for mine it took me all in all about 3 days they look great and i am in the process of making snap covers for them i will post some picks (ps i onley did the front 2 dont need passengers falling out)lol Rob

hope it all works out im doing the same thing for my filler i just cut the one off my stock soob rad and clamped a hose on it the took the cap end and clamped it to the other end keeps it flexable and filler friendly lol im just mounting it at an angle in the spare tire area and mounting the dule fans in the hood but idk if i want to run them both pushing in to the rad pulling out or one going each way to circulate what u think ???? this is my 86 gl wagon its got 205 r15 blazer wheels and tires and about a 3 inch lift right now 2000 pound weinch,CB,and ea82 plans are 6 inch lift bumpers more lights bigger raidiator.
