  1. I'm glad you made it home Brian! Found a cheaper tow company I presume? Do what you need to do for WCSS. Hope its just something simple then you can still make it to the show. Keep us updated!
  2. Great Shots Pete! Just an FYI. Brian lost fuel pressure on Hwy 80 at Nyak. I have been on the phone trouble shooting with him with no luck so far. It's a fuel related problem. We are thinking its the fuel pump that died. But It's a complex system and if one thing dies it kinda effects the rest of it. He's calling a tow truck. Hope he gets home safe!
  3. Did I miss where it says how much camping per night will be?
  4. Join us up in Reno on Sunday. Not really a car show... just a small get together. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90761
  5. Yeah bring something without sugar. Brian bring some tatter salad. Sounds good. Kinda do a pot luck thing. Beer car be brought too.
  6. So I was thinking about meeting there around noon. I talked with JB and he said to show up anytime. Should we do a BBQ lunch? Let me know so I can pick up some goodies.
  7. Yup, JB's house. If anyone needs directions please PM me.
  8. JB is going to get a hold of Dalton. Last I saw his brat was listed on Craigs List.
  9. Awesome, I called JB and he's in. Well actually we will have the meet at his house at Red Rock. Newbies welcome!!! You dont have to be going to WCSS to join the party. More people the better.

  11. Ok all you local Nevada Subaru owners. It's time to have a mini meet before we go to WCSS this year. I'm thinking a possible trail run/last minute repairs/BBQ/Beer. Let me know, I can host it at my place, but it kinda sucks here. If anyone with a house/yard would be better. Oh, anyone is welcome, you don't just have to be from Nevada. Those Cali people can show up too. I'm setting a date of August 3rd! RSVP
  12. Good to know that Carson still has some gen 2's on the lot. Jibs and I were at the Sparks PnP last week and they did not have one single gen 2. All 3's and Legacys. Pete, going to WCSS this year? If not all us locals should get together before the show. Wadda think?
  13. Don't wait for the trip, wanna come over to my apartment complex? Kids are still screaming, playing outside and keeping me awake at midnight. ARGH! :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead:
  14. Um no, and I'm going for good MPG on this trip. So I won't be exceeding the speed limit that much. Your welcome to be a law breaker tho if you prefer.
  15. I have to work Thursday. So I'm either going to leave Thurs after work at 5pm (unlikely after a 10 hour day) or Friday early. If we don't meet up on the road save me a spot at the campground!
  16. Ok, a little change in plans. Looks like I will be able to go this year. I just sent in my WCSS registration. I have 4 days off Firday-Monday. So I might caravan with the group up to the show and leave Sunday afternoon and bomb home. So whats the plan for us Nor-Nev Nor-Cal guys?

  18. LOL I use to take my stock 91 Legacy and 87 GL-10 down to greenhorn. I was really good a scrapping up underneath. But I would show up my friends 74 Ford F-250 that would sink in the sand. Good times!
  19. It should be a direct swap if I recall. Being a tranny from a 82 you will benefit from the lower gearing. Should help move those larger tires better. I know this swap was done to NV Zeno's wagon, but his is not lifted. PS. When are you gonna make it into sparks to pick up the brush guard?
