  1. HAHAHA well, as soon as I find it it's goin back on!!! Learned my lesson!
  2. DONE!!!! The oil pick up was in good shape so I did not have to mess around trying to remove it. And yes its in there really tight. Thanks a million for all the help, replacing the oil pan was actually really easy. She's running great with no leaks. Now I have the rest of my Saturday to mess around! Jeremy
  3. The JB weld lasted long enough for me to drive it home last night. Now today starts the replacement of the pan. Wish me luck!
  4. Thanks a million. I just found that diagram on page 2-4 7. No cracking of the case
  5. Do I need to split the case to replace the oil pick up? I cant seem to find a diagram in my Service manual.
  6. What if I patched it with JB weld or some other patch stuff as a temporary fix so I can drive it 3 miles home? Any thoughts?
  7. Do you think my oil pick up is screwed? I have a parts engine laying around, so I just need to know if I should grab the pick up or not?
  8. Alright great, this might not be too much of a nightmare after all. Skidplate? well um... last time I changed the oil I was too lazy to put it back on... oops... now Im paying for my laziness. Thanks for the help! Now Im going to be towed home by a Ford Ranger.... sigh :-\
  9. Do I need to pull my engine on my ea82 to get to the back bolts to pull the oil pan? A rock found my oil pan today and put a nice size hole in it. Link to the video.. who can guess which bump did it? I think the 2nd?!?!? From inside the car...
  10. Yes its a horrible job, but it's money. I have to drive to McCarran Nevada everyday which is a 45 mile round trip. So I'm looking at about $40 a week just in gas.. Argh! Sooo WCSS in gas would cost about $210 round trip taking the interstate. Screw that!:-\ I'm in the market for a motorcycle. Anyone have one for sale? I found an older Honda 450 Silverwing. It needs to be fixed up but I read it can get 50+ MPG!
  11. I can't make it up this year. No way I can get a day off during my 3 month probation period at the new job. Oh well, maybe next year.
  12. I saw that same brat on my trip to the mid west a few months ago. My roommate thought I was crazy whenever I pointed out a Subaru. She just does not understand!
  13. He just reposted. $1600 now. http://reno.craigslist.org/car/692685388.html
  14. No problem, I was on my way to pick up a set of rims I found on CraigsList. The brat was sitting on the same road where my destination was. Its unfortunate I not see this thread before I left, I would have called the number and taken it on a test drive for ya. Good luck on whatever you decide to do. If it were me I would pass it up, there are much better brats out there to be had for $1500+
  15. Well in my opinion its not worth anymore then 1k. Its... well... lets just say, well used. Dings and scratches, interior is alright except for the seats and radio conceal. Only rust I saw was on the drivers rear 1/4. Remember this is just my opinion.
  16. I lived in Grass Valley for 20 years. Only wheeling I did was in Greenhorn Valley, and a little cluster of logging roads out Quaker Hill Rd. Back then I was not really into wheeling, but if you know of some good trails I'm sooo up for wheeling in my home town. Jeremy
  17. Found this while driving through south lake. Is this the one? Has a for sale sign on it, they are asking 2k.
  18. I have a schematic that shows step by step how to install the A/C in the EA81. Might take me a few days to find it, as soon as I do I'll post it up.
  19. Do you have a passport? If not you better apply for one now so you can get it in time. Crazy to see you the other day Dalton. Who knew I would run into you at my ghetto apartment complex. LOL Brat looks good!
  20. Yeah I'll get banned or the thread will be locked. Good to have a blast from the past every once in a while!
  21. Thanks for the warm welcome! I have a good feeling about this board!
