  1. yeah thats a bit far to start planning now, but I did note it on my calendar. How's everyone in the area handling the earthquakes??... I just got shaken out of bed with the one that just hit...They are kinda starting to freak me out.
  2. Oh hey thats a good idea! Then we can split the cost of gas. But I'll start my WCSS savings now and see how it goes.
  3. If these gas prices keep up there is a very slim chance I'll make it to WCSS this year.
  4. Just noticed you wrote late July early August... haha I feel like a dope!
  5. After Tuesday my schedule is somewhat free. I'm up for camping, wheeling, or whatever. Lets work something out that works for everyone!
  6. Link to some Reno/Tahoe trails http://www.greatbasinbicycles.com/trail_maps.htm
  7. I think the 82 has lower gearing, so that should turn those big wheels easier.
  8. Are you going to install the 5-speed or keep with the 4?
  9. Sorry I wont be able to make it this time around. I'll be at Disney Land that week.
  10. Uh yeah.. ur the one that needs to make the trip up here... I'll be out of town from the 12th-19th tho
  11. What repairs are you doing to your RX? it's a slight possibility I can make it.. pencil me in.
  12. HAHAHAHA, I'm not really into the spinning kind!! I would rather throw myself off a cliff then have spinny hub caps! Yeah yeah Brian I know, what did I expect for $9 at Wal-Mart!
  13. I'm in!!! There are trails everywhere... we can just ride our bikes were we usually wheel our subies! I gotta fix my derailleur first tho. Is that how u spell derailleur?? lol:dead: I'm good a hijacking threads so here we go.... I went on a little adventure today in my wagon. I love the change in seasons this time of year!! Everything was either white with snow or green from spring!!! Sierra cement, perfect for a light little Subaru to drive on Found this humorous sign on that trail... Just a soob shot....(Yes it was SNOWING) Then right down the hill it was green and beautiful!!!! Gotta love this area
  14. I know there are a few in Reno. I see them from time to time, but I don't think they are members of this board.
  15. Hey JB there is an 80 Brat for sale on Craigs List. Looks like it would make a nice parts car. Maybe you could talk him down. http://reno.craigslist.org/car/614608191.html
  16. Its really a shame. When I was up in Minnesota all the cars had a thin layer of white salt all over them. Is that really necessary from the department of transportation? You would think with the technology we have now there would be some kinda salt substitute that is not so corrosive. But the ice must be melted, when there are single digits for months in a row I guess salt is the answer. Now that I think of it I did not see many cars older then 1990.
  17. I drove through your neck of the woods last week for the first time ever. Seems like Subaru's are few and far between in the mid west??
  18. Yeah it was... don't forget, "EX" Wagon now. :-\
  19. lol I remember that day at Jumbo. Good times!
