  1. An alternative to the $200 aem fpr is a b&m. I've got one from my integra that i'm going to put on a spare ej22 fpr just to try it out. Not to mention the B&M is only about $60.
  2. I don't know about the clock spring. But how much would you want for the heads and intake manifold off the 2.5
  3. This one works pretty good. Even tells how far off the speedo will be http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html
  4. 1 and 2 look like a/c bracket mount and plugs 3 looks like the spot where the preheat hose goes on carb models for all I know 4-6 are also a/c relatdr plugs for the other various stuff that it would have 7 iirc is the service check on the ea82... I'm not sure about that though edit... if its not conected and not causing problems its not a problem
  5. ej22t pistons, crossmember, manifole, uppipe, turbo, downpipe... But if you are looking for small stuff. Clean it up real nice and maybe paint it for a custom look
  6. I've had plenty of 4 cyl's that never kept me out of trouble... I've lost license twice, still have 3 pages of active various tickets... But almost a year sinec the last one
  7. People Have thrown the wrx turbo on the ea82t's. If they can do it why can't an ea81t hold it, thats my reasoning anyway.
  8. I'm with him. I don't think it'll matter much. The exhaust doesn't change from one side of the turbo to the other. I think you should go nuts and do a wrx turbo and intercool it. Maybe a small front mount or a awic. Just to see what it can do. Stock wastegate for the td04's is 9psi iirc.
  9. And I want it's wheels Why did I sell the white brat with them on it.... WHY
  10. The 83 brochure I have says for a gl 4wd its it 2405 with a manual trans
  11. I've seen the 94's dyno vid on legacy central I think. But the 97-97 GT's own me when it comes to looks in a legacy.
  12. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/subaru/0/e62ce8ba-cb6f-416e-8bd0-98e5015de513.htm I'm still drooling on this one...
  13. And the fact that they will most likely hook it up to a scanning tool...
  14. The motor and driveline is worth that and then some man. I had a buddy describe the 91 SS I bought over the phone. He must have a higher standard than I, because he said it was really rough. Anyway, we went bought it for $200 brought it home. Didn't see it in daylihgt for 3 days because of a f'd up work week. If you've got the money to spend on it and it runs good you can't go wrong.
  15. Is the ea71 that much lighter than an ea81? Putting the ej22 in my Brat didn't change at all how it sits like a heavier motor should. I've done some "bigger motor" swaps in other make where the car will drop a noticable distance up front.
  16. Well through my connection at the parts store I can get just about everything I'd need for under 300. No struts front or rear, But thats no biggy. Besides I'm selling a honda saturday:grin:
  17. There is always the aftermarket suppliers making hubs and junk, All is not lost.... For Now
  18. The manual "should" have 4.11's my 95 brighton did. Auto "should" be 3.90 I noticed on mom's 98 today that it also didn't have a sticker and I was wondering about it myself. At least its not alone
  19. Good lookin car man. As far as engine. If you can get a ej22 to fit the ej22t will fit because it has the same external size with the exception of the turbo on the back. Good luck.
  20. I'm not sure about getting them serviced. But its a craftsman, they'll usually replace defecive equipment free of charge at a crafsman dealer. I've done it may times at the local sears store. I've broken too many 1/4 drive ratchets in my day:-\
  21. From what I can remember from when I put on obd1 motor into obd2 car I had to swap out most all the sensors between the two. Most plug up differently, but I don't see why it won't work
  22. Don't know of the adapter. But you can fit xt6 hubs to convert it
  23. Did the lug nut cut them easily??? never heard of doing it that way
  24. You're torque wrench could be drasticly off. I had one that when set at 51 lb. ft. it was actually throwing over 100 at the bolts. How old is yours?
  25. I'd rather go 5 lug for my endevor. but if that was out of the question I'd 6 just for the better wheel and tire selection
