tole ya ........"she's a fixer" lol these cars are just too simple and cheap .....makes the fun factor higher.... :D

alcohol is for racing.........runs too cool for street.....no lubricity......40% more consumption........bad for non compatible rubber parts.......cold weather issues.......its a water sponge........limited access supplies......leaves a white residue caused by lack of maintaince....good for more torque tho...and its way safer fuel than gasoline....nice octane level......just some bits of info from competing in pro racing karts..........i know it prolly doesn't mean anything to most and some disagree....but just my personal expirence......

i raced 4 cycle karts for years....these alcohol briggs engines are way under powered like the soobies.......so i would opt for the heavier flywheels for the momentum advantage coming out of the corners......don't kid yourself it works.......ask the guys that were looking down my header tube how it worked......hehe

thank you............i have a spare sfpi ea82 thought i would experiment with, but it doesn't sound like its worth the effort.what about the sfpi intake/weber compared to the carbed intake/weber?

kinda hard to miss a lifted soobie.......i thought i had the only one in town.....kinda catches your eye.......looks odd and out of place .....like its supposed too......zzz

only had/have one.........old lady rear ended someone with it.....bought it for the tow bill...(75.00) in 1999...drove it as it was...hehe.....retired it......unretired it this summer.......lifted it 8",added light bar,winch,toyo wheels,stripped int.,tube bumper,unmuffled exhaust,painted w/flames and grass lol...soon to have weber and dual bats...........its quite a conversation peice around my body shop.................
