I would also like to get the hard vinyle headliner from a '85-'86 GL wagon sometime, to replace the sagging fabric liner in the GL10. '85-'86 had the cool "Checked" style headliner. Fox, your 3-Door has the style I am talking about. Reminds me of the XT.

What would '99 be? SLA and RR I presume? Or did they go back to Hydro Lifters? As I would be getting onto a '99 SOHC EJ22, so this could be an upgrade option for the '93 EJ22 which is in the car.

Having sold Trashwagon10 to Milesfox, I can now make my move onto an '87 Numbchux swapped EJ22 D/R 5spd GL-10, which just so happens to be rust free. I have put money down already, and I will be picking up the car in Duluth, Minnesota on the 25th (16hr 800mile roundtrip non stop run) The plan would be to leave by 4am and get back, well, when we get back. I will be driving this car back down, as that will be a true test of the mechanical ability of those who have worked on this car. I am looking forward to this car, and already have plans for it. Pics and updates to come 2/26/12. For now, this will be a Teaser...

Anyone know if an EJ radiator will fit in an EA82? I am not a fan of the "Hose in a Hose" trick. Plus will an EA82 rad cool an EJ motor properly? Less capacity?

I don't think it is a cooling issue at all. Remember, this car has a Digi dash, so from what I remember when it had the EA82T, the gauge was always a little hotter then the Analog version. The Motor is a First gen EJ22 with an OBD-II intake on it, so we shouldn't have any HG issues with this motor. Guess I'll just have to look at everything when I'm up there Never thought I would travel out of state to get a Subaru. FYI time, from the Corner of Kenosha, to the corner of Duluth/Superior, the state of WI is 493 miles across.

I like watching the white lines pass from under me on the freeway, makes me feel safe *Cough* (Plus I never need to stop and take a piss) Yeah, I am gonna drive it back. I am not gonna buy a Tow dolly at the moment, and I am not gonna put Jons clutch under that stress, and I am not paying for gas for a 1500 Ram 360 5.9L. Although, a 2500 Ram with the 360 and is 7,000lbs still gets better fuel milage then an 80-Series (Gotta love Straight-6s with a 25gal tank) Doh!

The only thing I like about the car is, it is a clean EA82. I am not really a fan of it being EJ. The EA82T would have been cool. (People give up on them to easy) I really can't see how you can blow a HG using it as a DD?

What is with you an '96s? Do you like emissions or something? :-p To bad I don't really have any extra parts. I do have an axle which is good. The CV end is good, and if I stick on a good DOJ it will be a working axle you can have. Save your self $60. We'll see what I get with that GL, some of it might be of use to you.
