  1. No, but i think i will when i get them better. i also thought about painting them, since they didn't turn out as good as i wanted. Pictures: Worst Rim on the Car
  2. lately i have been cleaning up the rims, they are absolutely horrible. found Wet Sanding more effective than Cleaners ( made for cleaning rims) they look 10x Better now. disappointed they didn't turn out better. Pics Later
  3. i found out i grabbed the wrong JB Weld. i grabbed the Blue and orange kind. i knew i should have grabbed the black & Red Tubes. anyway, not worried about till next inspection. i also called pattersons for repair parts, they are outrageous ! $50 for taillight foglights $100 cup holder $20 rr taillight i bought for $15 at seamans saved $35 My driver's side turn signal blinks fast, it work front and back but blinks fast, also found out my rear wiper doesn't work :-\
  4. i will take a picture of it when i get my camera back. (parents borrowed it for a car show)
  5. i have a welder, but cant weld steel to aluminum. the jb weld i have said 300 Degrees i might have bought the wrong JB. I'm not worried about the leak now, at least until next inspection. i want to get this Header for the outback: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-Legacy-GT-97-05-2-5L-4DR-Wagon-w-o-Oil-SS-Header-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4aacb8a060QQitemZ320725360736QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  6. tried it, just melts away. put it on and overnight it melts after the car has warmed up. I'm glad you enjoy my videos, i enjoy making videos
  7. i double the gasket, i kept old one in and put the new one in with it. it still leaks but its quieter. the header is rusted and busted around the flange. i will have to replace it eventually. but its quiet enough to were i wont get pulled over.
  8. well seamans was a disappointment, all they had was the Taillight i needed. also got the exhaust leak quieter, to the point were i wont get pulled over.
  9. going to seaman's auto wrecking tomorrow morning. may not get all parts, but hopefully the 2 main parts i need are there. RR Taillight & Driver's Windows Switch. said on the phone the switches go quick. and fog lights are usually busted. its a Pick 'n Pull type of wrecking yard.
  10. right, i couldn't think of the name for them. i got this outback without the remote alarm and i had to disable it by the fuse. couldn't i just go to the garage and get a new remote ? or do i have to deal without the remote and alarm ?
  11. did i mention it has new hg's? and they are the 3 layered ones.
  12. i don't know about the A/C, A/C condenser looks new. i pushed the tab and it hissed ever so lightly. it may just need recharged ? -- Fixed: 8-3-11 Temp Check Engine Light Test ran, burped Radiator ect... Temperature is Good doesn't overheat. real test is on the road.
  13. really all i have to do is get plates and ad it on insurance. the inspection runs out 2/12 so i'm pretty much good all winter. i need money to finish it and get new plates. I'm in no hurry to get it on the road. as for the fog lights i might replace them with oem. i really don't need them though. i will however replace the right rear taillight. I'll be going over the car today to find as many problems as i can. EDIT: Broken that needs fixed Fog Lights aka Bling Lights Head Light Clarity Tires Power Windows Switch (driver's) Temp Sensor Right Rear Taillight Check Engine Light Exhaust Leak Alarm System (no remote, had to disable) Battery Cup Holder Air Conditioning Top Priority Repairs: Tires Temp Sensor Rear Taillight Exhaust Leak
  14. it does not run, i have taken it apart and the timing is way off. had to turn the crank quarter of a turn and the right side pulleys were off about half i now have the timing correct, at least i hope so. yes it needs right rear taillight and needs both Fog Lights also power window switch for driver's door. i have only 3 months to get it ready for winter. as this is my winter beater. for $600 i knew i couldn't lose. Parts he said are new and i have confirmed Water Pump Timing Belt Timing Tensioner all 4 Rotors all 8 brake Pads
  15. good to see you finally got some box speakers in your subie tom. looking good. -jawn
  16. just picked up a 1998 Legacy Outback AWD 5 Speed Wagon Many new parts including headgaskets. wanted $1,400 down to $800 and i got him down to $600 he agreed to the $600 after he found a van he wanted for $500 so here are some pictures: Only thing thats suppose to be wrong with it the timing is incorrect, he said the guy who did it didnt even line up the marks. if im lucky all i have to do is do the timing. if no bent valves ect...
  17. just better off putting an DOHC EJ25 in with new 3 Layer HG's the car I'm speaking of is a 90 Legacy. as some may remember as my first lifted Legacy. i may be getting it back, and i want more power. i figured if its worth it I'd put the 2.2L on the Ej25 before putting it in the Legacy. but i get what your saying, so I'll just put the new HG's on the stock 2.5L and throw it in the early legacy.
  18. 91loyale i appreciate the good info on picking a good donor. but now i am confused. i was told on here that the F.M has 185Hp that's 20hp more than stock EJ25. F.M would be great for a Winter Beast. especially with bigger heavier tires. not only a winter beast but a scrap hauler & other Miscellaneous work.
  19. i would appreciate it though. if you want do a drive video. that would great to.
  20. Overheated? like as in the RED or got hot above normal ? best to look for a Low Mileage one from a wreck i guess.
