  1. Subaru guarantees seatbelts for the life of the car, maybe call a dealer and save headaches?
  2. it goes behind where the alt 'hinges' on the a/c compressor it holds that long bolt on
  3. Thats tha a/c youre talking about, the small 'nut' thing is the nut for the back of the long alt bolt which goes between the ac and the alt, actually the bolt i believe goes through both
  4. On my '97 I have no problem with the alt/ps belt just loosen the alternator all the way (almost) and it'll slip right on at least mine does
  5. if a fuel filler tune assembly from a 2000-2004 Legacy Wagon would fit a 1998 Legacy Wagon, Thnx

  7. 98 legacy wagon, 215,000 miles, doesnt leak a drop of oil purrrrs like a kitten
  8. no muddy roads, ill try that im leasning toward the alt theory tho
  9. if i pull over shut off motor restart and continue driving, sometimes the light will stay off
  10. Riddle me this, Batman, why does my ABS light come on during highway driving around 2800 RPM, never comes on around town and if i shut off motor and continue highway driving sometimes itll stay off, I'm puzzled Where's The Penguin when you need him?
  11. probably yes to fraying because it affects the construction and safety of the belt, but i guess it depends how bad the fray is
  12. i wonder if that includes the motor on the automatic ones? mine are manual but im wondering let us know
  13. yay all is ok mechanic said you dont really have a problem with SOHC, DOHC is where you run into trouble
  14. welp 2day i find out whats going on, wish me luck and a little prayer wouldnt hurt either :-\
  15. welp lets hope & pray what happened was two pulleys siezed up and broke the tb
