  1. Good to meet you Joe! Please check past PM's from me, and let me know what you think.
  2. Thanks, Noah. I'd like to put an XT-6 clutch in now in anticipation of the future EJ swap. What all do I need? ('94 Loyale. Prolly grab a D/R while the engine is out right now).
  3. Ummmm. . . . he got dual port heads. That rocks.
  4. Engines do not require back... Oh wait. I already said I wasn't going to do this again.
  5. Good question. I've been searching today to see what is required to put an XT-6 clutch in my EA-82. Similar question, I think. Do I just need the PP and Disk? Or do I need an XT-6 flywheel, too?
  6. I think the link itself needs to be removable, with some way of holding the bar up out of the way.
  7. Anyone done some of these up for their EA-82? Love to see some pics.
  8. Thanks everyone. It was just sticking on the locating pins, as '91 said. It's out now, and ready for inspection. It's not seized, so possibly just T-belts. The teeth are shredding off both belts! the previous owner did a HG, but didn't do the belts while it was apart. DUH!
  9. I'm still in, and might want more, but I need replies to my previous PM's before I do anything further with this.
  10. Yah. I'd like a driver to use while this one is down. Standard, D/R, everything should work. (need the D/R to swap into my '94 at the end)
  11. OK, got it most of the way ready to come out, but had to stop when it came to actually separating the engine from tranny. Any tricks to this? We tried a couple times, but it didn't seem to want to separate. If we have the bolts out/nuts undone, we should just be able to jack up the tranny to get the motor mounts to clear, then pull forward, right? Rad's out, all wiring/hoses/cables undone, motor mounts are undone from underneath car, exhaust undone. Chilton's maunal sux for this procedure!
  12. Thanks Jim. You'll have to email him through the address in the link I posted (click on the "this car" text in my first post).
  13. Could someone try to check out this car for me? I emailed the guy, but he tried to brush me off, saying he prefers to only deal with local people. (so, why post it on the internet then). Thanks
  14. In the spring of '03 I went to LaPine and wheeled with Mudrat79 and a few others. I only have a few pics from that trip and would REALLY love to have more. I know there were others taking pics and video, and would love to have what you can find.
  15. This is already being discussed in this thread.
  16. Yup. Didn't ask about price, but I saw some nice 15" mags there.
  17. Greg: It's not temptation, it's information. Marc's Import Auto. Burnaby.
  18. I found a 5.5 x 14 at a Peugeot specialist - he said they were rare. I do know that I can get a 15" that (I think) is 6 wide - but I'd really like the 14's. There's a rocky hill I used to go up locally where a lot of other 4x's had trouble. I could go through a little easier with my flexi-sidewall 13's than with the 14's I put on later. That extra bit of sidewall sure can help.
  19. Thanks Zap. I'll have to break out the scanner and post a pic or two of the spot. (from a Canadian 4x mag)
