I think it might be an option to 100% gas. In retrofitting subies there is a post on HHO relating to this. It is still another fluid to change under the hood but might be worthwhile if you do the work, i.e. your energy. I hear alot of truckers use it. We will see, I'm interested and Im going to submit it to a friend to see if the computer side of this can be made for multiple vehicle type applications. The can of water is easy for older cars! OOOH! I have a test vehicle!

The jy here sells the harness, ecu and engine for $1300. They said about one a week....

I found the end of the oem cable attaching to the hitachi bracket on my weber was rubbing on the fast idle linkage (or whatever it is, in that spot)until I ground it down. I didn't think it was the problem until I had someone else on the petal while I looked.

I just had the same thing happen to me! I re wired everything till I noticed the melted cluster attached to my radiator! Took me two weeks to find and fix as it would only short out on the rainy days! After a little careful prying and a good dab of rtv ! Glad I don't have to drive the freeway with my hazards on anymore! PS don't let uhaul re wire your lights!

So I'm wondering what the points to ponder are in the "New" version of the "ej it" statements are gonna be. If you can ej it now with the carb, what are the benefits and the downfalls going to be. Obviously time of installation are a considerable benefit. What about engine maintenance, durability of a durable engine, and mileage? Scott, here is to you!

Would there be a problem with a welded iron carb box?

Scott, are you going to save me a million miles of wiring? I saw a zenith stromburg carb that would maybe bolt right up on your block off plate. I don't know if it would fit or work really or the price of one but it might be a bolt on conversion. Right shape anyway. Another thought I had was for a bolt on box, semi triangular, to mount the weber carbie on the stock inlet just in the rear. I'm sure you could cast a perfect one with good flow. Bolt it on and drive away! Go back for the wires later if you so need them! Would anything be in the way? I don't have an ej in my car to look at yet, I just got my donor and I will look today. And everyone i know thinks Im the only one crazy about roos. I would have no hair without this forum!

I'm gonna need you guys/gals to give me some support I know! I'm in the seattle area but haven't met any subi folks around here. This will be my third subi but the farthest thing I will have ever done to any car and I hear its not so easy as a bolt on ....anything. I'm about to get the donor this week. How many hours on does anyone think/ know it will/can take? I thought about a ea82 but cant find a good one and found a great donor.
