  1. I'm rebuilding a EA-82T and need 2 timing belt tensioners. OEM ones are pricy, is there aftermarket ones that are good? thanks
  2. now that i looked at the year of your car (86) i'm not sure it will fit now. I think it (the wiring harness) will only fit 87 1/2 and up models. thats when they changed it. Before you do anything, check the 2 round connectors i told you about. that will let you know if they will fit or not.
  3. When I did this conversion (XT engine w/spider intake into a 88RX) the wiring harness was the same. It had a round black connector and a round white coonnector. I took the p/s and a/c off the engine and kept the xt dist on the engine. Everything works fine, i just swapped ECU's from the XT to the RX. hope this helps.
  4. 3D, DL,GL,RS. 4DR, DL,GL,GL10 SW, DL,GL,GL10 ALL NON_TURBO MODLES and they were made for the 89,90 MY
  5. They didn't close down, they just changed there name to Perry Subaru.
  6. what are you going to put it in? I am putting it into a 88 RX that I'm trying to get some power out of. I just found a spider manifold at a u-pull-it in S.NJ. Six months ago, when EJ and I went to Harry's I counted 5 spider intakes there! Last month non were left. I'll keep everyone posted.
  7. I have aquired a spider intake and I want to put it onto a EA82 turbo longblock and into a 88RX. I have heard there was factory turbo engines with that intake but I have never see one myself. I see the electric connectors will match but has anyone ever done this swap? It looks like a straight forward but I have searched the USMB but couldnt find anything. Thanks in advance for the input...
  8. You mention the EA series bore is 92mm, I see the EJ22 and the EG33(SVX) bore are 97mm. I see a difference of 5mm. Am I dreaming or is it possible to bore out the 5mm to fit a better/stronger piston? Am I just nuts to think of this? Thanks for the responses in adance.
  9. Does anyone know if the EJ series 1.8 pistons will fit in an EA82? The thing I'm thinking about is if there stronger/better/comp ratio than the EA82 pistons, I would swap them into a EA82 block to pick up some HP. I know someone used a N/A EA82 block with a turbo setup already but I want some more longevity out of the pistons.
  10. I'm relieved you made it home O.K. with no problems. Hope the car serves you well. Thanks
  11. could/would you make this for someone? It looks good and would look good on my 3 door coupe.
  12. i was up there last month and I grabbed the brakes, calipers, control arms, axels and alt to do a 4-to-5 lug swap on my RX. I was just wondering if this was the same XT-6.
  13. If its the same one I saw its missing the stuff you would need for a 4-to-5 lug swap and the alt. But maybe there is a different one there.
  14. Hey "D", is this meet in the PB still a go? how many/who are going?
  15. Does anyone have pics of a lifted 3 door coupe? Like the RX bodystyle? Wanted to look at it before I lift mine. Please post here or send to: subarueast@yahoo.com thanks
