  1. i have a ford van thats comes into the shop has over 400.000 on it. i never said you can't get high milage out of other vehicles. they advertise word of morth. they don't spend millions on ads trying to say they're the best like everyone else, they put it into product research. i'm only trying to help save you money! if you change your oil 6 times a year with reg. oil how much would you spend? like i said before local trucking co. over 600,000 miles with NO oil change. how much money are they saving and they have no problems. they even had the the motors taken apart and ckecked with no problems found. i can't help that there are no dealers close that you can't check it out. if you have resolts with seafoam thats great i didn't and neither did any one else i know. if i had the test resolts i would post them and they would blow you away. not trying to sound like a jerk but again like i said before you can't knock something you have never used. if you have been working on cars longer than me its not been to much longer i've ben doing it professionaly for 15 years. owned over 45 cars thats alot! i never had to own that many myself.
  2. our local rep has the test resalts. you don't need to be a test subject the testing has been done. why would you dump liquid down your intake? you trying to hydrolock you motor? thats not smart. if you want the smoke effect put trans fluid in your gas it will give you the same effect. 200,000 miles on a subaru is nothing they have one of the best engins out there. they don't have the results on there because you wuold have thousands of pages of info. they do way more than auto only.
  3. thats fine if you like seafoam. i've seen the tests and oil samples of what works. conklin does have oils that are compatible to all subaru oil types! the conklin oil is a parasynthetic oil. like i said before oil samples don't lie. just like royal purple, now they advertise they have zink added into the oil. why would you add a metal to your oil, to make your motor wear out faster? royal purple test results come back as used oil! thats new out of the bottle! you have an oil sample done then you can tell me what works or not. like i said before have them do a test in front of you, THEY WON'T!!! CONKLIN WILL!!!
  4. i'm not a dealer! i've used seafoam and no diffrence was noticed. how often do you change your fluids? 3000 miles because thats what you have been tought. thats crazy! do you have oil samples taken? how do you know whats going on in your fluids, whats wearing out? conklin HAS been proven to work! there are local trucking co. that have over 500,000 and 600,000 miles on the SAME OIL! yes they still change the filters. so don't knock something if you haven't tryed it. yes there are reg. vehicles that have over 250,000 miles on the oil also. the 4 power fuel cleaner starts working in 1 to 2 min. the dealer has a carbon strip in seafoam for about 7 months now and hasn't touched it. so tell me what works. OIL SAMPLES DON'T LIE. ask some one to do a deminstration for you. seeing is beliving! I ONLY USE THE BEST!!!! they have many products and have been in business for 40 years!!! how long has seafoam been in business 2 ??? conklin isn't going anywere! if you like spending money on stuff not proven to work thats fine. conklin will beat any think you buy at your chain stores. if you have been up set about products that don't work find a local shop that sells it and ASK for a demistration. what do you have to lose!
  5. don't waste the money on seafoam! do you have ses light on or did you check the codes?
  6. use conklin 4power. run as described on the can. it works!!! the BEST on the market. find a conklin dealer in your aera and ask them to show you a demistration of how well it works.
  7. don't use anything to thin your fluid!!! it is designed to run a certin weight. when you drive the fluid gets "thinner". drain the fluid clean the magnet and refill. you don't want to try to harm your trans.
  8. seafoam don't work don't waste your money. ask for a deminstration to see it work, they won't because it don't! check out the conklin products they do work and they will show you they work. you'll have to find a dealer in your area.
  9. nice steal!!! with 5" lift you can fit 33's easy 35's should fit with a little trimming. great buy!!!
  10. from what i read about the tt supras they have no lag. they boost just like a supercharger. tt are great but one that produces alot of boost is good also.
  11. no i'm not a dealer but the shop i do alignments for is. yes the dyke works very well also. i feel more like Ron Popeil than Billy Mays, JUST SET IT AND FORGET IT!
  12. you shouldn't feel any lag between turbos because they both produce boost at the same time. you would have inital lag until they spool up.
  13. seafom is not all its cracked up to be. if you want something that does work and proven to work there is a company called conklin. they have many things that work (aditives , oils). they have auto, home, and pet products. check some of your small local auto shops to see if they sell it. every thing is highly tested with oil samples. oil sampled dont lie. i use the oil and fuel aditives myself and i'm going to get trany aditive soon also. my family car is a 05 ford freestyle with the cvt tranny. the conklin rep. in my area had no test results on that fluid so he went and bought a new bottle and sent it out to be tested. it came back and had no anti-wear or cleaners in it. conklin don't advertise like all these companys because they know they work. they advertise by word of mouth. it's not very cheep stuff but like i said the products do work. the owner himself said they will go bankrupt or close the door before thy cheepen the product. if you can't find a dealer i have a meeting on may 5th and pm me and let me know where exatly where you live and i'll help find you a dealer if you want. http://www.conklin.com
  14. the only thing i can find for camber is camber adjustment bolts that give you 1.75 deg. + - adjustment.
  15. never got to see a turbo set up other than wrx's. ya wouldn't matter where it was mounted on the block as long as it can detect a knock. i could see the turbos being harder to get to.
  16. found the miss fire was a bad injector. must have going bad for a while, runs smoother and has alot more power. thanks for the help guys.
  17. i'll do that the one i found at the yard was cracked also. didn't think it was hard to pull off. thought it was very easy with no wobble needed. but i'll check the dealer. thanks
  18. thanks i didn't know that would be a newer gen vehicle but i'll post their now. going to the junk yard to find one sat.
  19. thanks i'll look for it on fri. after work.

  21. not an ingition problem. tried a diff coil didn't change, has great compression. has injector pulse at plug but i can't get the injector ouy to check it, any one have any sugestions.
  22. it ran fine when she shut it off. when she started it back up is when it started missing.
  23. i don't know if any one makes adjustable control arms for the gl i would have to look in my books at work. what i did when i did the outback lift on my legacy wagon i ground out the top hole on the strut where the spindle mounts. if anything happens i have some adjustabilty.
  24. 91 legacy has miss in #3 cyl. new plugs and wires. plug is not wet andi have spark but it don't look strong. were there any known coil problems. it has about 160,000 an it.
  25. yes, weld everything on top of the frame it will be much stronger. i didn't see the side mounting on the drawings.
